My speculation is that it was a 5.56 rifle, the standard military round for rifles and carbines in the US military. You need to actually hit something important for the round to be dangerous/deadly. Someone saying "it looked like a BB gun" has no authority and clearly no credibility to comment on violence or gun control. It sounds like you're commenting from the ignorance-bubble of your bedroom without having any real-world experience.

A witness from the crowd said he and his group saw the shooter and tried to get security to check him out but they only looked, essentially doing jack. He said they saw the shooter climbing to the roof of a building only fifty feet away, carrying a rifle. Then he said after the shots were fired, the security personnel blew the shooter's head clean off as they watched.

The killed so-called "member" was the alleged shooter. They want to tell us that someone managed to enter the arena with a gun, passing all security checks, and then, miss from 10-20 yards out? 100% staged!

No this is not some big conspiracy theorist statement. When you study the media, you see all they have been doing is fear mongering against the political opponent. This is why we have such a influx of extremist both in thinking, and in action.

I don't think he was lying. To someone who hasn't heard a lot of guns, it wouldn't sound like much at range and over that crowd. Several people in the crowd said they didn't hear the shots, just the crack of the bullet going by at most.

I rarely agree with you Cenk, but I agree that his raised fist was a reaction of defiance, and reassurance for his crowd. And despite which aisle of politics you back, it’s going to boost his supporters further, if not garner a degree of sympathy for him.
