Was not expecting snow content from a Florida boy. I’m here for it. Good change of pace. Keep up the good content. Enjoy.

Is funny, one of my favorite channels recently imploded. And also recently tried a Utah trip. Was awful. Made me think the content sucked. Then here comes T-Ray a week later making me want to go out and rent a snow bike. There’s a place 3 hours from me that rents them out. Waaaaay less expensive than I thought.

I’ve been here to man! I doubt you recognize me but my other account was “look_its_Wesley” you helped me with my dad passing at an early sage, 19th birthday. I remember a while ago go you talked a lil bit about your dad passing when you where about the same age, it helped knowing you could empathize so I just kept my head up and kept going. been her since 60k. I love your content I lunched a KZread channel, maybe in a few years I’ll catch ya at a event
Was awesome catching up again man. Super happy you got to rip the truck a little bit. Looking forward to linking up on a drift week in the future

Backcountry snowmobiling is a crazy workout. Once you figure out how to dance with the machine its alot easier than when youre learning and fighting the machine but its still a crazy full body workout if youre out there ripping. The altitude adds a whole new dimension to cardio that you never know exists until you experience it.

Yes exactly! Not having the proper technique made it where I was working super hard. And I would just get gassed out really quickly. So it was hard to learn because by the time I got into a move I was tired. Lol
I’m from British Columbia and mountain sledded most my life. It is the hardest workout you will ever get while riding a vehicle. Plus the thin air , it wears you out !
Holy shit! I passed this on i70 yesterday on the way back from Steamboat, i was wondering what was going on!
Im pretty sure the white D21 Nissan drift truck is my old friend Brandon Pejsa of Missleworks. A solid dude and he makes rad stuff.
Please do a hard body or small drift truck one day, they are so bad ass!

Brings be back, I had an absolute beater 86.5 hardbody and it was one of the best working vehicles I've ever had. Sat in my yard for like 5 years at one point, threw a battery in it and it fired up like it ran the day before. Drove the thing from Seattle to Northern Montana with a bed full of stuff including a motorcycle and it averaged 35 mpg. No creature comforts but just a solid solid machine. I wish I could find another one in decent shape.

Good to see you're taking a break and what a place! Amazing scenery and all the toys 👌
awesome to see a D21 on your channel! i daily a d21 and have been building it to be a pretty sick street truck that i hope to drift in soon
Georgetown baby. Glad you enjoyed your time Taylor. I had my WRX out there last February. So much fun.
It's awesome seeing you enjoy your time in CO! Come back to the trees soon!
What a cool video! Thanks for the video!!
If I can help it, in a few years from now I’ll cross drift with Taylor Ray off my bucket list. Whether that be on snow or pavement haha
As someone who grew up in Arizona in the desert drifting and now living in the mountains sledding, I fucking love this video. great to see you enjoying Colorado, I'm actually pretty sure I was at copper when you drove by too. come back soon!
Hell yea! Been a long time viewer! Been riding mtns for 15+ yrs. Was awesome to watch you experience that feeling of snowmobiles an snow bikes such a blast🤙
Awesome video Taylor, keep killing it man!

Man thats an awesome trip! Thanks for the great content!
Snow mobile will humble a body builder, i rode one for 6hrs but was beat within 2hrs but stayed on trails enjoying the scenery after that and was ready to go home the next morning. Glad i stayed and worked the soreness out and wasnt near as bad the next day
Right as I take a seat on the thrown a masterpiece is dropped
As someone who grew up mountain snowmobiling, it was funny to see you realize how difficult mountain snowmobiling is. It really wears you out even if you're an experienced rider.

nice! im about 1 hour west of vail pass pretty cool to see you come out here and enjoy my back yard
I've done probably over 70-80 snow drifting days in these last 4-5 years and honestly I am very much over it. Yes it is insanely cheap and the car will never break unless you crash, but the skills are not directly transferable to driving higher grip scenarios. Everything happens really slow and the snow tracks constantly lead you left or right as if the car has really bad alignment. It's really fun for beginners. But for any intermediate drivers who wanna do drifting on the cheap, it's way better to drive in the wet than in the snow. Me and my friends used to get winter beaters 5 years ago and go to the mountains to drift all winter, but we do not anymore. I like to drift when it's warm and nice outside than having to fix a fender or a flat tire in negative degree temperatures.
Welcome to town!
Ice drifting is 80% of our drift season up here in northern canada. Its super fun and the tires dont wear out half as quickly. On some of the lakes we set up full courses with either snow banks or cones depending on snow amount.

I love going fast on snow and ice it is amazing how much traction you can have with the proper tires 👍
Glad you had a good time in my state :) I love snowmobiling, but haven't gone in years. Colorado Drift School does a lot at IMI Motorsports Park which is like 20 mins from my house :)

I’d give anything to do this for a day! Looks like a blast, great content my dude
Yeeeyeee love that place
My best friend had a Nissan hardbody , we were still in high school so it would have had to have been an 87 . His was lowered on wide tires and had a tonneau cover on it . We had so much fun with that truck , even more so because we were teenagers in the 1980s .
My friend lives in Silverthorne and was telling me that he saw people drifting on a lake then this pops up from you. That's too funny and awesome
Came out to Colorado and didn’t even say hi? Go to the meets?
Looks like a blast! They must do a lot with that frozen lake. My bother in law played hockey on it last week.
Hell yeah I live in Utah next door to Colorado this was cool to see I've heard about ice drifting but didn't know it would be so close to home for me I'll have to give it a try some day
Snow content! I am so jealous! Where I live we usually get over 100 inches of snow over the course of the year but this year we are only at like 25 inches so I'm having withdrawls. Normally my stock truck is a rust bucket pos, but as soon as we get a little snow it turns into a drift monster. 4x4 and snow tires is a good time. I should be out drifting this time of year but it's 70F today.
Venture up to Montana, I’ll show you things that TRULY feel like a movie! We ride snow bikes because absolutely nobody can take their sled where we go!
Welcome to Michigan lol, my fav time of the year to drive is when it snows. I will spend all day and night just driving around on the main roads and drift everything
That guy has a cool business!
Y'all need some proper ice racing studded tires for next season, a lot of people in Scandinavia have those to run their drift cars in the winter.
What a cool experience 😎
I wonder how that would work if say clutch kickers was to host a event here if or whenever they come back hopefully 🙏 or even pro spec or pro put on a event here yeah no tire smoke but would be awesome to see
@Vorgto

They'd dig up the ice TOO much. A prospec drift car with grip appropriate bolted tires would take inches of ice as they slid by. Ice consumption is a huge issue for ice events.
I was just there for my birthday to watch the 4x4 races. Sucks I missed seeing u guys shred
8:03 she's a looker! 😂
When mountain riding a snowmobile, you have to counter steer in the deep powder you use the back of the ski like a Rutter
I haven’t been able to make a trip to the mountains this winter and it’s killing me lol, this shit is the best.
didnt have this on my bingo card today, but damn is that cool!
The PFI guys must have been on the other side of Collorado maybe,,? Shame you couldn't visit those guys.. ✌️👍🇬🇧
Damn! Living in Sweden, that is so littel snow! 😅 but nice snowmobile shedding!❤
do more of this!
Lighter smaller cars are best for ice drifting. Miata or e30 would probably be the right choice
Ian brought me on my first ride along back almost a decade ago been a fan of drifting ever since its cool to see yall doing shit
That was wild, had a sled in PA when I was a teenager, no it didn't have a wooden track LOL! road farm fields, had to watch for barbed wire fences.
just came back from doing a school run with the Utah snow... my dually was trying to kick out almost 30 degrees in the powder... after that I came in to find this... Looks fun, but Ill keep my Dually off the ice!
U wanna really have some fun drift a snow plow truck all night and plow a foot of snow. So much fun
@davidmoore8741
4 ай бұрын
Or drift a loader with a snow plow. That takes some skill in a 20ton payloader
@Vorgto
4 ай бұрын
I will confirm this, sliding in a plow truck around an ice track is awesome.
Riding a sled is definitely hard. Many people like myself spend a few years riding trails and backcountry with much less snow than in the mountains. You eventually will get the hang of it, but only with lots of practice and time. Also, boost sleds are very unnecessary in all applications of snowmobiling, NA versions are fast enough as it is.
I just picked up a 22 ktm 300 xc-w and I can only imagine how fun that is on the snow 🤙🏼
Lappi tires are popular for ice drifting here in Norway😎 should drive normal a bit before drifting for the studs to set
HELL YEAH!!!
My favorite time of every year is when I get back on the frozen lakes to play! (Please get more drifters interested in the ice!) (I should roadtrip out there next year, sliding on a lake with mountains surrounding you seems super epic. All I get is forests or houses. )
This is sick, I ice fish that lake all the time
Nah this is sick !
