Breaking Through - an LGBT Story | GPB Documentaries
Despite increasingly positive representations of LGBT people in popular culture and incremental moves toward equality, LGBT people still face discrimination and negative stereotyping. Even when their company non-discrimination policies include sexual orientation and gender identity, many LGBT employees endure anti-gay remarks or jokes, and are left to wonder if it is really safe to be out at work. Original Air Date: 2014

As a proud ally, I can't tell you how many times I got chills watching this amazing documentary! This was originally published in 2014... These brave people paved the way for Mayor Secretary Pete Buttigieg and I couldn't be more thrilled! 🎉🎉🎉
This should be part of school curriculum. A free country means free for all. I’m a an Ally and will be forever

Brave and inspiring 🌈
What upsets me the most about all this bias prejudice against gays, my LGBTQ+ brothers & sisters. It started years ago by 2 senators who wanted to see how easily a society could go against a group of people. When one of the senators was dating of cancer a few years ago, it was on a news channel like CNN, 60 Minutes, or … (sorry I can not remember exactly) the dying Senator asked for everyone’s forgiveness. If he was truly sorry for doing this horrendous act why did it take dying of cancer to admit it? This has caused millions of my LGBTQ+ brothers & sisters to die. And yes I did write to him & you can probably guess my response to him.
It's true. We are everywhere and we are here to stay.

Great documentary about American politics in relation to homosexuality.
These so called Christian’s do not speak for all of us, shame on all of those who talk or act in this way in the name of our lord, shame on society for allowing this to happen, shame on Government for not standing up to these people and laying down the law. 🙏
💜🙌🏼
Amazing how the Asian man thought being gay will be a bigger issue for me and the black woman immediately saw herself as a victim because she was black
🌈🙏😇❤️
There have been LGBTQIA+ people in all cultures and all periods of history, we don't evolve out, and will always be here. All attempts to eradicate are religiously based and promoted by hateful bigots, not loving christians. Forget pray the gay away, all of us have tried.
