`There is a precedent for Jane becoming Mighty Thor in the comics. In War of the Realms, she gets the shattered hammer of the War Thor. After she helps Thor defeat Malekith, it shatters and becomes a bracelet. When she becomes Valkyrie, it turns out that it is the all-weapon that she uses as Valkyrie. They could go either way. Mighty Thor appears in Secret Wars. I hope they will give her something to do. I would love to see her in a situation where she has to stand on her own feet with no help from Thor.

I'm 56 now. But the Asgard vs. Olympus storyline has been my favorite since Thor Annual #5 from 1976!!😂

As long as they don’t hire Taika Waititi to write the movie, it should be fine. His directing wasn’t the problem imo; it was his screenwriting. Hopefully Chris Hemsworth will still be able to reprise the role again

@@ItsMyTurn215 Let me say this, in my opin. none of Thor movies are genu. great by itself, but i would rank origin Thor as best of them even if its because i like greek and norse legends, classic old knight stories and that movie reminded me those in many ways, plus i loved Thor had his band with him (Sif and warr. 3). Ironically i would rank Ragnarok as 2nd IF, IF i think of that movie either as parody/comedy version, OR in my headcanon as poss multiverse/elseworld story (since many characters in that movie act as compl. deifferent ppl) - that movie made many chars dumb and ignorant, treated almost genocide of nation as joke, but outs. of that it was still fun flick with great action scenes.

Would love Kenneth Branagh! Really enjoyed the first Thor film!

Thor and Thor Ragnarok have been my favorites, and I hope that the new director/writers can have Hemsworth's iteration go out on a high note.

Sources have said it will have a more serious tone than Love and Thunder. As long as Taika isn't the director, which they say he isn't then chances are it will have a little comedy instead of heavily saturated with silliness.

Chloe would be a great director for a serious Thor. Eternals wasn't the best film but it's definitely one of the best cinematically and tone. Just need a better writer. I'm over the action/comedy MCU movies. I want them to get back to drama/action The Winter Soldier/Civil War tone.

It would be interesting for them to bring Sam Alexander with Beta Ray Bill and maybe the film will also incorporate a wrap up for the cliffhangers left in Eternals

Thor 5 should start with korg narrating again. But Thor interrupts saying that Korg isnt good at telling stories, and recalls how he made up more than half of the things that happened in Love and Thunder. He can say "Gorr is still out there, we never went to eternity, and his daughter ran away from him after he found the necrosword, Gorr went on a killing spree to find his daughter and Thor ended up rescuing her while only escaping from Gorr, but Thor plans on stopping him"

Kenneth Branagh does bring a classical, epic story perspective.

When loki and thor get together they're the best brother duel in Marvel.❤

I'm glad that Marvel continues to work on Thor projects. The movies have not had the best reviews but Thor has always been one of my favourite characters. Maybe dial back on the comedy a little. If Beta Ray Bill appears... Icing on the cake...

Kenneth's Thor film felt like his version of Hamlet just a bit too light when it should have been darker. Compare that with Mel Gibson's Hamlet which was perfectly dark and better for it.

Kenneth Branagh should be brought back to direct. The first Thor is my favorite movie in the series and one of my favorite MCU movies. I prefer the more serious tone. Beta Ray Bill needs to finally show up and Kenneth Branagh should voice him

I hope Thor doesn’t die until Secret Wars! We need that flipped moment where Loki endures the brotherly loss, holding Thor’s dead body.

They should do a Magog/Dark Winter with a sentient, pissed Mjolnir and foreshadowing Galactus would be dope! It could be kicked off and connected to The Fantastic Four. I'd even do a cameo by Reed and setup a Cyborg Thor story line. Throg, Thor Corp, and the return of Kenneth Brannagh would guarantee a billion dollar movie.

Thor 5 heck yeah just not the joking one but with a more serious tone, with Loki, Bata Ray.

i am interested to hear from Marvel on what they have in mind for Thor 5. i would love to see Loki make an appearance, especially after becoming the God of Stories.

I’m excited to see that Marvel is going with a more serious tone and a new direction for the final installment of Thor. I think this has great potential.

In this next Thor movie, I want it to be mythical. Plus, they should use Sif's character more and address where the other Norse Gods were during Ragnarok like Baldur. Because since the mcu was created, we only see Thor, Loki, Odin, Sif(rarely), Heimdall, and Frigga.

All the candidate directors will do a great job. Branagh's first movie had a great feel but same as the Marvel's movies back then, were too short and had more to offer, same as Iron Man 2. With a little more extra time, it should be better fleshed out. They were too fixed and rigid on runtime back then.

Def excited to see where Thor's story goes from here

Now the question will die in this movie or be left in a place that will be able to be in future movies as he wants to, but not Force him to?

It would be nice to see Thor be a little more serious again, and hopefully they bring Loki's story into the new movie. He is the God of stories.

It would be nice to give Sif a proper send off. I say give fan service and bring everything full circle. Let Hemsworth’s Thor have an ending, pass the hammer, introduce the new Thor and continue with the franchise.
