I've been blessed to watch his career from a long haired blue eyed blonde debuting against Sri Lanka to getting tonked for 6 sixes and now ending as one of the best test fast bowlers there's ever been. Going to miss his hooping inswingers and wobble deliveries. I can't think of a better new ball bowler to left handers. Round the wicket angling in and nipping away to the left hander hasn't had a better right armer to do it!

Broad in whites stands at the bowling mark...red cherry in his hand....urges the crowd to cheer for him, to cheer for his team.....he approaches the poping crease with a fascinating rhythmic runup...Nasser Hussain quips on air "broad has his tail up"...Broad delivers the ball....a typical Broad-like scratching sound from the stump mic (sky sports only)....and crowd and commentators scream in awe as Broad takes another batter down.......These are the """BROAD""" memories. Thank You Stuart ❤

Always has a sneaking suspicion it’d end up being Broad that went before Anderson… what a sensational career, and to go out on a high - probably the player of the series for these ashes! It also makes sense from a cricketing point of view - Jimmy/Wood/Tongue would be more likely to get in than him in India and then too relatively poor touring sides in England next summer, so the timing is good really!
