@@crispyy5980 The multiverse will still play a role in SM4, albeit a small role and most likely towards the end of the film. I'm not saying the whole story of SM4 is gonna be exactly like ITSV, just that they'll both share the multiverse aspect (among others previously listed).

That’s very ambitious. They could have Toby Maguire give Tom Holland some advice having experience with Topher Grace Venom/Eddie Brock.

I'm SO excited for Spider-Man 4 to see the introduction of Miles Morales and Black Cat being the main love interest in the movie but seeing the venom symbiote at the end is CRAZY 🤯🤯

I would much rather see the symbiote restore Peter for the 1st time during the Secret Wars story arc. It would be more "comic accurate" that way.

If this is true, then that's an interesting way to give Peter the symbiote. It's similar to the game. Kravin stabbed Peter and then Harry's symbiote attached to Peter and saved him. I wonder what kills him, tho? We need to see Venom vs. Spider-Man in Venom 3. Favorite Hero: Batman

Sony and marvel probably reached the end of their deal. Like Sony will agree to let marvel make spiderman 4 a grounded movie as long as he's killed off in the end. Therefore Sony will make their own spiderman movie.

Peter at the end of Spider-Man 4: "Not the Multiverse agian man!" I would love a Deadpool joke about this in Avengers 5 or Secret Wars about how Tom Holland just keeps encountering People claiming Multiversal Backstories ever since Far From Home.

I wonder if Spider-Man 4 will feature Peter having an out-of-body experience. Similar to Thor in Thor: Ragnarok, and Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3. And once he visits the afterlife, he encounters Aunt May, gets emotional, and apologizes for being partially responsible for her death in No Way Home. But just as he’s accepting his fate, May encourages him to keep going, and that matter what happened and whatever will happen, he’s made her very proud and that she’ll always love him. I realize that sounds cheesy and formulaic, but I feel like it’s a possibility that best fits this version of Spider-Man.

This is honestly a great viewpoint for the future of these MCU films, so excited!!!

I think it feels too early. We just got Peter on his own, he’s finally an adult. Now we could get a more traditional Peter Parker story reminiscent of the comics. If they kill him off in the fourth installment they’re robbing the fans and audiences of a good story if done right.

@@laurenbardoner8903 No. They've got plans for Holland and Garfield. Secret Wars and Kang Dynasty will be huge for Spider-Man as he will be the supposed leader of The Avengers in Kang Dynasty. He'll be important for that story. By the way, they're still calling it Kang Dynasty. They're just going to change the actor and say that the Kang from Ant-Man 3 died and got replaced with a new one. John David Washington or Coleman Domingo sounds perfect for this role. It's a fascinating idea and it seems like they're correcting all the mistakes to have previously made. They had no direction or path, now they have one. Spider-Man will be an important character moving forward, I mean all the Spider-Men, Tobey, Andrew and Tom. Spider-Man is supposedly the savior of the multiverse in the next phase of the MCU. I'm all for it honestly.

@@laurenbardoner8903 Kevin Feige put his foot down on this stuff. He doesn't want to infect the film with stuff that doesn't belong. The story was the heart of the previous trilogy and this will be supposedly more mature and in line with the character everyone knows. Sony should be learning from Morbius and Madame Web, not giving us more of it. NWH marked an entry point into more mature storytelling and 4 will probably deliver. Even if it is a multiverse film, it will deliver because this concept isn't getting tiresome on audiences that love this concept with Spider-Man. Plus, it just fits the character in general. Holland could be playing Spider-Man for the next 5 years.

What about keeping Spiderman 4 low stakes, and mostly being about the "friendly neighborhood Spiderman" and the identity of Peter Parker. This is what everyone wanted to avoid! What happened?!

That is the only way they can kill Peter, that the fans will accept. But... where did the Symbiote come from in the MCU? And by Sony creating Venom movies ( that were not good) they messed up the continuity and story of the relationship between Peter and the Symbiote BEFORE it attaches to Eddie Brock. There is no reason for Venom to fight Spider-man.

Ambitious for Sony. They better do better than the whole of the Spider-man universe with no Spidey

Kingpin reveals that he owns Avengers tower at the end of DD Born Again, which gives him access to the time travel device. He uses it to bring the sinister 6 characters across universes, then uses the sinister 6 to hunt spidey. Spider man gets help from DD, but ultimately ends up dieing. However, the Symbiote ends up saving him at the end. Maybe when Kingpin uses the time travel device he brings Tom Hardys Venom back to the MCU? I'm not sure, but as a basic plot, I would love to see this story pan out.

They are going to recreate that comic book cover if you know you know...

We need Andrew to fight Tom Hardy’s Venom. It would be the best route to go if they plan on having him fight Spider-Man. I think he would fit the movie so well if it is truly suppose to be a darker venom film bc I heard it might get rated R. My boy needs to fight an alien
