Bought this because while I really like coffee, I don't really especially carve espresso at home, it's just nice to have and I actually need espresso to make tiramisu which I'm addicted to. You can get good espresso drinks everywhere, but good tiramisu isn't that common and I like having it at home. Overall, I just don't want to spend that much for something that's going to be just a treat sometimes. Baratza encore esp, picopresso and jura frother are perfect low cost setup for good enough espresso. It's also good because it doesn't take much counter or cupboard space. Encore ofc is also my normal coffee grinder so it's not just for espresso.

Nice, good point. I could see the appeal for someone that only needs to brew espresso only on occasion.

Nice video, thanks! And congrats for the cool setup. Two questions if I may: why are you not spraying the beans pre-grind, and why no puck screen? The puck prep also seemed a little excessive, but hey if it works for you, all good J

It is NOT replacing your Saeco. Picopresso is for traveling or when you want to have some coffee nerd fun at home. You can see he has a machine between his grinder and the Picopresso. It doesn't have to replace anything. I have the Picopresso, Flair Neo and a super automatic. And to that add a french press, Aeropress, v60 for the non espresso coffees. You can never have enough when you are a coffee nerd.

@@HenrikZachrau We have Aeropress, V60, Switch, Mokapots, Cowboy coffee pot, Vietnamese phin, Turkish jezva, cold drip, Gaggia Classic Pro, Espro, French press Bodum, and Picopresso. Made a stand for the Wacaco Picopresso from a retort stand for $5, loving it. Simple but great crema, pays for itself in a couple of months as it was only $93 on Lazada.

Why? It hardly gets easier/better than that to get a nice espresso with such a small thing.....if you want an espresso anywhere. Otherwise, an Aeropress, a Frenchpress and a Clever are way practical no-brainer an quicker to deliver a simple and good enough coffee.

Greetings, First of all, I liked your video. Your video is very good. I have both a fully automatic machine and a mokapot. I was also thinking of buying flair58, but many people on some seller sites say that it does not give creamy espresso like in the videos. Even though I was still thinking of buying it, I gave up. In your video, despite all this effort, the amount that comes out is 37 ml. Espresso, let's say we are sitting with 2 people, while one of them is drinking, I am still trying to make the second coffee. I also see that some parts of this machine are plastic. If you know a machine that can make Double espresso (60-70ml), if possible, please let me know. It's the only one I've seen so far. The Cafelat robot appealed to me. I think the coffee produced in the robot is 55 ml.
