We built a pumptrack in my backyard and it was a lot of work but totally worth it! This was a real learning experience in how to build these. We even built a step down which is a lot of fun as well!

Build a roll in Jordan, it will give you more speed to start with, you should build it at the back/side of on of the berms so it filters into the pump track

This is going to be the best serie ever 😀 - French rider
The dirt that he has there is beautiful
Imagine if you had this property just before Covid hit the world That would’ve been awesome the amount of time you would’ve had to build stuff and test it and make sure everything was good enough to ride it’s always good to build and learn new stuff and I cannot wait to see what you have in store for the super monster
Jordan Boostmaster more like Jordan Buildmaster
So rad! This is the first video I've seen that goes into the math and measurements of building a pump track...or ANY trail (except for IMBA trails).
@JordanBoostmaster

ya I was trying to find more info on that also haha, and I didn't find too much, so there is some trial and error still going on!

@@JordanBoostmaster You should do scout videos over your property (where you want to build, of course). We are all ready to help by sharing our ideas, what we would build there. Maybe you get inspired and build something rader than what was your initial idea. I would love that you have as bonkers place as Seth has his. You "mtbyoutube" pioneers deserve to have your own playgrounds. That way we can have more fun by watching your videos more often.
Man can you go back to New Zealand when covid is over I love those vids
Such a sick video a cant wait for more, yeww
WILSON IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pump tracks are by no mean easy to build, built a few and have learned so much!
Sick
So cool of you to play Dezza on your channel ! Love his music
Such a sick video
Awesome friend , keep wheels down and keep pedaling
I honestly love raking and cleaning and building out dirt jumps. So satisfying.
this place is beautiful - probably close to my dream property
The start of something dope Really dope
Boostboy!!
The Dream Backyard
You can tell, the rollers in the back are smaller, and not as well built as the ones in the front, keep up the good work Jordan.
This series is gonna be sick
YES, cant wait to see more of these!!!!
One thing I will say about building any feature is make it 20% bigger than what you want it to be. Once everything settles and hardens it'll be at the right size. I would also say never to use wood in side lips, landings, berms, etc as they rot extremely quickly when buried - even if they are rot resistant they will break down faster.
@MarcusNesbitt4

Oh and pack in the back of the berms, when it gets faster they will start to slide if you don't

Thanks mate
When/if other KZreadrs come up to visit a backyard build with them would be sick to see their style, looks like your going to make this place god tier. Happy digging!
JB - friendly land planning tip, avoid raising the grade at the base of any tree in excess of 2 inches per year.. Doing so will promote rot at the base of the tree for which it will not be able to recover. Your big berm appears to be supported by the base of the spruce/pine/fir tree. It was difficult to tell from your camera angles, so you might be ok. Also IMBA has a great design guidelines manual for sustainable trail building and design. It's a good read if you haven't checked it out. It may not completely apply to downhill lines, however, having the knowledge base on good trail building practices will help you make informed decisions on layout. You have a great skill set, and I wish you the best in your new development endeavors. Peace!

@@JordanBoostmaster a pleasure. Enjoy the build. I am currently master planning a bike park for a private developer in central NH. Phase I planning is a small 87 acre fabulous parcel, much potential for every skill set. I'll send you a glimpse when the project makes it through approvals. Keep up the good work, your channel is very entertaining and a pleasure to watch.
Love seeing a great plan come together! Of course it will take some trial and error, and it still looks like a great pump track, and you even got a step down thrown in for good measure. Nicely done, JB! Awesome progress, Brother!
Living the life, house in beautiful woods 👍🫡
That looks as good as the stuff here in Woburn !
Name the step-down 'stump-down'
yay first build
It's som cool to have a pumptrack in your own backyard. I the next think you build should be a freeride trail
Me being here before it's one minute after you posted
Wicked stuff, the work is really coming along! That pump track is gonna be sweet with minor tweaks. The possibilities you have in front of you are endless. Those trails are gonna be just sick with all the rock and elevation you have to work with. Stoked to follow along! Cheers, mate!
That second berm looks so mint
Dang...now I want to build a pump track in my back yard. Grass lawns are over-rated. :D
it just makes my day so much better when you upload a vid :)
Nice work for your first pumptrack
Try and copy the roller design used for the pumptrack at the base of the sun peaks bike park it works insanely well for big bikes so i can only imagine dirt jumpers or bmxs
imagine is seth or backyard trail builder came up and helped buiild some stuff! that would be legendary

I could watch you build all day it is amazing what you can do with some dirt and a shovel.
it's crazy how all of this came to gather
Love your videos! Keep up the good work! 👍 It would be cool if you built like a 5 foot wooden roll in to the pump track to gain some speed.
Building Mount Boost. Cant wait to go on this journey with you to see some of the runs you put together. Maybe you can collab with other youtubers that built trails on their property. Like Seth with Berm Peak get some good feedback from them
This will be a good chapter for you !
SO SICK!
Fantastic man. I have a small humble 1.5 acres. Just got started building by hand. Sifting is the best.
Beautiful property, nice trees and terrain
Lucky I love building pump tracks
I can’t wait to see what’s to come. This place looks so rad!
I’m so envious! Can’t wait to see more!
Really looking forward to this series🙌
I'm so stoked for all of this.
Thats somee epic progress already!
Great vid
Love this video.. can’t wait to see more trail building from you. It inspires me to start building my own trails too.. thanks for sharing this video. As you learn I learn too.
I love a good build video! Looking forward to the progress on the new property. Congrats man.
Nice work Mr Boost! I just love building trails it's so rewarding. Really keen to see what you build next.
SICK DUDE!!
nice video keep up the good work. support from Belgium
So I don’t know how the trees are against rotting, but some people put plastic tubing around the base of the tree so dirt isn’t making contact with the tree. If you are wanting to save trees that will make them last a little longer. Just an idea!
Can't wait to see what you do with your new playground. Happy shreding from england 👍👍
This looks like it’s gonna be a great source of content good work can’t wait for the next project
Great video Jordan!! What an amazing video loved the great vibes!! And the Pumptrack looks great at the end of the video and the step-down landing looks a little like an airbag as it is soft and bouncy!!
Insane Video 😍 Can’t wait for more building videos 👍
Looks really good. I think in the future you should make an expansion to it and make it so that you can transition from one berm to another. You will see this sometimes in pumptracks
SIIIIIIIICCCKK
finnaly it came
"YEW"... the universal mtb expression
Love it, your living the dream. I‘m happy for you an looking forward to see what you build.
enjoying seeing the process, as I have some land and neighbors who are not using their land that I would like to build on. What your doing is inspiring. I guess what I would do is something I am having trouble with right now and that is a downhill hairpin turn, I keep washing out and my knees are killing me.
Please build more
So cool and exciting!
Crazy Jordan only has like 300k subs - can’t wait to see how this land turns out, based on history gonna be sick
That’s so cool that you worked on sprock kids
Great job! Looks sick!

I love your videos man! So calm, chill and interesting! You really got me into mtb, now me and my friends are even making trails around us in the woods. So much fun. Thanks!
Sheesh
keep in mind this was years ago, I am talking pre-2000. But, when we built new homes we would dig a big pit and would just throw the construction waste into the hole. Once the house was done, we just covered over the hole. Probably where the trash is coming from. It was very common back then.
Man... That dirt looks so good.
build a mega mega step it would be sick
Looks so sick
Awesome!
Stoked to see what you are going to do Jordan. Just one piece of advice. Build like a builder, don't go down the Seth road, if you do that, then you need to open "Valley Gravity Park" If you want to keep people interested, make it achievable for the "regular trail builders". I don't just mean us old school people, but the kids who are interested in trying to build something in their backyard. If you can think of the tools that you had and the tools that you had to haul into your build sites (back in the day), that will help with your content.
Good job for cleaning the nature 👍🇨🇭👋
Dang that is really cool I am about to build a jump spot my self
