He didn't say dig in, he said put your weight in the heel and then roll it to the toe. But no offense, I'm guessing this dude knows a little bit more than you about skating & instructions. Unless Happy Gilmore is a new hockey skating school.

@@Whitesquall123 yeah happy Gilmore skating school is the best there is. When you skate , you want to stay mostly on the middle of your blade. As soon as you put weight on your heel, it makes you unbalanced and it puts you in a vulnerable position in contact hockey. It also digs into the ice more and slows you down. When you turn, you want to actually lean more forwards, but still keep your weight in the middle of the blade. Hopefully this helps, if you have any other questions coach Gilmore is here to help
