I don't know why you claim Hampton Roads is a soundboard ? All concerts are 16track stereo RCA recordings. About the rehearsals? I think both dates are incomplete compared to bootlegs and Elvis sessions III by Joe Tunzi. Let's hope Sony doesn't spoil it this time ,and do Elvis On Tour justice. The release is way too late at January 27, 2023 to be called a 50th anniversary edition. The movie was released in November of 72.

Hate to dissapoint you, it's the original film on BlueRay this time. And not even sure if Johnny B. Goode is in it this time, or Don't be Cruel. Let's hope the first.

Elvis on Tour was released before on Blue Ray a few years ago, I have it on Blue Ray. But nothing new in that Blue Ray version.

Don, have you checked out the alternate version of "On Tour" its quite good, with raw b/w backstage footage, pity they couldn't put those on this release, and a stand alone DVD would also have been nice. I'll still wait for a FTD CD and Vinyl release, if there is one.

I don't understand how they can say this is 3 unreleased concerts I have these concerts from years ago from bootleg sources and I know that they don't recognize those so they're gonna say I'm released but they released Greensboro Richmond I know of those 2 have been released by FTD and just in the last 2 or 3 years they're incredible quality so I don't know how they could say I'm released and what really irritates me is they've got more concerts if they completely recorded they could release including New video also I'll never understand why they do this

Yes and a Boot "Box Set" some years ago now by Amiga that apparently is quite good. I have both the official release of 2010 plus the alternative version with the raw b/w backstage interviews taken at various locations during filming. In these interviews Elvis tells a truncated history of his life story in 43.35 all the way from childhood, early fame, Hollywood and beyond. This can also be found on the Elvisone CD "The Elvis On Tour Interviews". Why can't this material be released commercially, the world-wide fan would find it wonderful and fascinating, him telling his life story to them.

Well, (well, well, well, well, well, well) :-) as I am following Elvis Prelsey - THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE - this is a non-understandable thing about the 1972-On-Tour-material(s) - WE COLLECTORS AND FOLLOWERS HAVE ALL THESE THINGS ALREADY - IT IS A SHAME - THAT THEY CAN´T RELEASE FINALLY (we have now the 50th Anniversary!!!!!) NEW AND/OR SUPER-QUALTIY MATERIAL OF THE RUNNING PICTURE FILM MOVIE "ON TOUR" ---- EVEN NO DIFFERENT CAMERA ANGLES (!!!!!!!) WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? As an huge fan and collector since 1975 - I declear: I will not purchase this use-less box set ..... no need for it ... we have alreday everything .... AND :-) (!!!) THE "OLD" MOVIE-STARTING-SEQUENCE WITH THE "JOHNNY B. GOODE" IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE "NEW" VERSION - sorry ---- FOR ALL THESE PEOPLE WHICH DO NOT HAVE THE 1972-things ---- yes --- take it! Yes, another underwhelming Jorgensen release. The concerts sound flat, muffled and lack sparkle. The cardboard packaging is very cheap and amateurish, too. And including the butchered opening Elvis On Tour Blu-ray is just a way to get rid of old stock. Massively overpriced and woefully inept when compared to similar Beatles product.
