Tyler Lockett is my favorite comp for Ladd I’ve seen so far. That’s really nice. And makes a lot more sense than the Cooper Kupp thing (a much bigger, more physical style of player). In terms of that fast, gliding slight-of-frame route runner with inside-outside versatility who can win downfield and underneath, that’s a really nice comp. I also agree that Tyler definitely has better hands.

Mitchell is a looser, more fluid athlete than Pickens. The lower body flex is ridiculous. Ree-dic-you-las. Unbelievable movement skills for his size. Which is why Brett’s Lamb comparison makes more sense.

It's amazing how many guys can't catch with their hands who dominate college football. If you don't catch with your hands, to me, you're a 3rd rounder at best. Wasnt hip on quinten Johnson in the first round last year to LAC. I liked him a lot, but if you're an outside receiver who body catches im not betting on you to learn how to. You'd figure that would be a glaring weakness you'd address quickly at the college ranks. I just don't believe in the idea of there being many guys who can get away without using the extension of their arms and still being able to be a consistent mover of the ball. Casual deep threat with speed? Okay, but them hands make so many more passes good passes to a player.

MHJ being there at 5 seems unlikely. I don’t believe in the whole QB1,2,3,4 thing. So at least when the chargers go with Alt it’ll feel a little better that they’re passing on Nabers/Odunze instead of Marv. Chargers twitter will still be mad tho.
