Problem for islam is that no one ranked wants to risk fighting him. (Except rda and dariush) but both their fights were cancelled. Makes it harder for islam to climb the ranks, and as he inches closer to the top, top guys make the excuse islam hasn’t fought anyone ranked yet to deserve fighting them 😂

16:28 It's called Kuzushi. It's a judo timing and leverage concept transitioned to sambo, which Islam is a master of. Ashi waza (the sweeping techniques) is soooo underrated, and it's no surprise that Russians, who cross-train in wrestling, sambo and judo regularly, are the leading exemplars of it in mma. It does take some effort to adapt it to no-gi fighting, but it's so much safer way of executing the takedown than shooting for the single/double leg. People forget that Tsarukyan is primarily a striker who just wrestled with probably the best wrestler in the division aside from khabib and didnt look bad at all. If he looks over his gameplan we have a new monster. (islam is an absolute monster anyways)

Well.. he had been training with Khabib for most of their lives.. and if Khabib trains consistently as ferocious as AKA clips & vids shows then this observation could be wrong really. Plus Islam have competed high level Combat Sambo and won championships in his region before entering UFC.. it's worth checking the skills of those he defeated in his region before assessing he has never been challenged before, there are great fighters (in Judo & Wrestling) out there competing in other leagues besides UFC.

Which isn’t true anyway islam has beat very good fighters. Moises an Arman would beat most the big names in the LW division. Casuals just didn’t know them so they called them cans. N now we can add Charles olivera to his list, an in about 24 hours Alex Volkanovski will be on it as well.

Add the fact that Arman Tsarukyan had his wedding just before the fight, with a short notice to jump in to the show on his UFC debut with one of the greatest lightweights, especially when taking into consideration that Islam prepared for a fight since December and was ready for Keving Lee Plus add the fact that he trains in AKA with savages like DC, Khabib, Cain, Luke and with a good coach like Cavier, plus add 5 years of experience in age difference 22yr vs 27yr, usually 25-29 is the best age in fighting game, 19-23 is kind of where you start to accumulate the knowledge I am not impressed with Makachev's sweeps, I am impressed with Arman's results Even Al Iaquinta couldn't capitalize on Khabib, but I find these two fights very similar only with Arman being more dominant and actually having more aggression in that fight

Muay thai sweeps are all about timing, leverage and technic(power throws and judo throws are not allowed). That is a high level Muay Thai sweep very few can pull it off in that way.
