I would say people on that boat didnt know JUST how LUUUCCKKKKYYY they were for this....but then I heard them all singing every word and I know they know whats up. I wanted to go to the sound check and ask for it but we didnt end up getting to one of the shows for it. Bro Im jelly affffffffff.

@@riotgamerz1605 He thought it was going to be a huge hit. He expected that to be the single everyone recognized them for and it flopped hard. Polyamorous ended up being that song for them and Ben was bitter about it for a long time. There's a performance on YT of them doing it live years ago and Ben refused to sing it. Made the crowd sing the whole thing while he just played

Apparently I misremembered this story. It wasn't Ben that wanted it to be a hit, it was the label. Ben wanted Shallow Bay to be the lead single instead

@@Matt_Bright_1983 man Shallow Bay is a really fun song. Especially singing it while you’re drunk lol. Skin is me and my friends favorite song, it’s sad they don’t play it live. In fact, saturate barely gets played live.

I wish Ben still played his original guitar parts. The solo in this song is originally his. He no longer plays the intro on Diary of Jane either. Also, he really needs a guitar in his hand, he has more confidence and stays in groove: of recent he prances too much off tune.

Kynario I don't think he "hates" it per se. He was pissed at the label for pushing it as a single off of Saturate instead of the song "Shallow Bay".
