Breaking Bad Season 4: Episode 11: I Will Kill Your Wife (HD CLIP)
Ойын-сауық
What’s happening in this Breaking Bad clip?
Walter is brought to the desert where Gus confronts him. Gus fires Walter, warning him to stay away from Jesse. Although he will not kill Walter because of Jesse's loyalty to him, Gus assures Walter that Jesse will prove disloyal and side with him, effectively eliminating the little protection Walter still enjoys. Gus also says that, because Walter failed to stop Hank's investigation, Hank will also be killed; if Walter interferes, Gus will kill Walter's entire family.

What’s the TV show Breaking Bad about?
Walter White (Bryan Cranston from Godzilla and Total Recall), a chemistry teacher, is diagnosed with lung cancer. He decides to make and sell methamphetamine to repay his medical debts and secure his family’s future.
Season 4 of Breaking Bad:
Gus (Giancarlo Esposito from The Mandalorian and Maze Runner)tightens security at the lab after Gale's (David Costabile) death. Gus and Mike (Jonathan Banks) work to drive a wedge between Walter and Jesse (Aaron Paul), seeking to coerce Jesse to be their solitary cook by capturing Walter while at the same time eliminating the Mexican cartel. Skyler (Anna Gunn) accepts Walter's meth cooking, and works with Saul (Bob Odenkirk from Better Call Saul and Nobody) to launder his earnings. Hank (Dean Norris), while recovering, tracks Gale's death to Gus and the drug trade. Gus releases Walter and plans to kill Hank. Walter tricks Jesse into turning against Gus, and convinces Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis) to detonate a pipe bomb in the same room as Gus, killing them both.

I think you're missing the point. The threat was not meant as a motivator, it was a statement of fact. Gus never threatened Walt's family to force him to cook when they were on good terms. Even after Gale was murdered and the terms their engagement changed, Gus did not threaten Walt's family. It was only when Walt gave the vibe that he was going to interfere to save Hank that Gus finally threatened Walt's family. This is because the "simpler matter" Gus was talking about was not a matter of business with an employee, or competition with an enemy, but a matter of vengeance against a snitch. The rule of honor does not apply to snitches as it does in all other situations.

That Cloud that leaves most of the valley in shadow and then goes away in the time it takes for walt to challenge Gus to kill him. They're interesting characters but they're both evil scumbags. The difference is when he's not putting on the "innocent Los Pollos Hermanos owner" act Gus acknowledges that he's an evil man. Whereas Walt's an arrogant prick who does what he does for money, power and to get back at people he feels have crossed him while deluding himself he's a good man doing it for his family. He could have been set for life if he'd stayed at Gray Matter but couldn't handle Gretchen being richer than him. And if it hadn't been for his pride and bitterness about leaving Gray Matter before it was successful he'd have let Gretchen and Elliot pay for his cancer treatment and wouldn't have started making and dealing meth.
Love Gus. Really shows how Gus influences Walt in all the wrong ways
Gus took a half measure. He and Mike always went on about half measures and taking full measures. But they always took a half measure with both Walt and Jesse even when the two got serious. They kept underestimating the duo, and it killed Gus and his drug empire just after he took revenge against the Cartel and for a moment, allow the rise of the Heisenberg Drug Empire before it also fell apart not long afterwards.

Don't mean to nit-pick, but why the Hell are these guys wearing winter jackets in the middle of the Desert in the Mid day Sun?!

I can't remember from the show, but it's probably during winter. The desert, even though it doesn't get snow, can be extremely cold in winter, especially if it's windy

It was in the winter. And keep in mind there is absolutely nothing out in the desert. Nothing to block the wind. That’s where most of the cold comes from.

0:55 is the exact moment Walter White becomes Mike. Bravo Vince for such a perfect switch.
In season 3 i was like "huh Gus seems okay he aint a bad guy" vut when i saw this scene i had goosebumps
The acting is always amazing
Walt falling to the ground on his side is a perfect foreshadow to when he does it again when Hank dies, down to the camera angle.
"i will take care of your wife, i will drive your son, i will teach your infant daughter" what a nice guy! ❤
It's sad that Walter knew Jesse was so kind that he wouldn't cook for Guss if he killed him and yet when he asked him for advise he wished to be found in a barrel in the middle of the dessert
Love the cloud that comes over the scene at 0:52 for some reason.
This really blew out of proportion
Walt had his ego so fixated on himself that he deadass forgot about his wife... Hella relatable, ngl

The darkness when Heisenberg starts talking...
I love that looming cloud above ☁️🌤
I love how a cloud passes by and forms that great shadow when Walt is giving his speech. Pure darkness. According to Giancarlo Esposito, that was luck and was not planned at all.

Gus “I Don’t Believe Fear to be an Effective Motivator” Fring, ladies and gentlemen.
Gus brought all this on himself as he kept treating people as disposable tools but Walt was the one who broke the cycle. There is so much fanon about Walt killing Gus over pride it's ridiculous. Walt was scared for his life, Hank's life, and the possibility of "Hank catching Gus equals catching us" before this scene pushed Walt over the edge. S4 Walt was pure survival plain and simple. This Walt here is actually the best Walt disregarding morals as he is experienced with the threat of death keeping him humble unlike in S5.
The caughing, the breathing, the fear + confidence combo truely perfection
The writing in this show consistently amazes me

I have a feeling really deep down, Walt was secretly loving all this.
Walt only had to fucking cook for 3 months
If he can say that 'i will kill your infant daughter' then i am sure that he was the one who ordered his men to kill that boy (andrea's brother) so that jesse would try to take revenge and die in the process. Gus was a a good character for the show but he was definitely evil from inside.

No wonder Walt was on the ground. How he could even stand with balls that massive is impressive
Gus shot himself im the foot here. He had Walt beat. What he didn't need was Walt desperate. That's when Walt truly takes the gloves off & pulls the crazy shit.
Walter:"and thats when I took it personal"
Bet Walter missed Gus’ intimidation tactics compared to those of Uncle Jack’s and his family. Jack would’ve simply skipped the threats, shot Walter and forced Jessie into prison labor.
The way the shadow comes over as Walt starts calling out the facts to Gus, then the sun returning just in time for Gus to make his retort and threat, brilliant. Walt was trying to get himself out of the 'light' of Gus' imminent threat, to return to the shadows, but Gus wasn't having it.
