Also, when VanWyngarden sings “Forgiving who you are / For what you stand to gain”, in the video we can see Chuck’s last days. And this line kinda reminds me of his last conversation with Jimmy about not apologizing, not having regrets and remorse, and accepting yourself for who you are. Oh, and I like how when the song goes “Just know that if you hide / It doesn't go away.”, in the video we can see Saul's escape from Albuquerque and Gene's miserable life full of fear.

@@harry_fox I really like that you picked up on those details. As you can see, the lyrics of the song are almost perfect for a video of this type in which you bring together Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and El Camino.

it feels strange to know, that every character shown here is either dead, or their life is ruined beyond the point where they can change anything. There's no happiness in breaking bad universe. There's only death and destruction caused by drugs and criminals anywhere in Albuquerque. It's an excellent edit, that lets you see the whole aftermath of the drug war in this town.

Ironically, Jimmy McGill is an important piece of this destruction. He is the one who started the war between Lalo and Gus (making the deal with Hank Schrader and Crazy 8 with the drug points), he is the one who made Chuck and Howard had terrible fates. He is the one who introduced Walter and Jesse to Gus's drug empire, and the one who helped Walter by poisoning Brock and subsequently causing Walter and Jesse to come into conflict, which would later lead to Jesse helping Hank and Gomez with the plan and making them The last two died in the desert at the hands of Jack and the neo-Nazis.

Fr Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are by far the 2 best shows of all time

the section at 2:38 is literally so perfect. Just the repeating echo over a series of people who would all die violent deaths until it gets to Jesse, the only person who managed to not only survive the game but escape it. And using that to transition into the el camino section? *chefs kiss* also crazy it even happened considering this came out before bcs season 6

It may sound weird but I think Saul got it better than Jesse. Saul either thought he went to prison, atleast has a good reputation among the prisoners, Jesse on the other hand has lost everything and is now living alone in a remote place in Alaska.

When Mike killed Werner, he did it to the letter on his boss's instructions. Maybe it hurt him a bit to kill the engineer, but he did it anyway. Mike's huge mistake was not killing Walter when he had the chance. Mike let him talk and manipulate the situation, and it cost him his life later when Walter killed him.

I love the preview of this video. It symbolizes the basis of these heroes. Walt's "little" shows his life and what it has become. Soul's "darkness" shows his essence as a character, his determination to dirty deeds. Jesse's "years" reveal his lost youth

Siento que el final de Better Call Saul la va a romper!! Sinceramente me encariñé más con el personaje de Jimmy McGill que con Walter White. Y lo que me impresiona muchísimo es el vasto universo que Gilligan creó, con diversos personajes únicos y de diferentes tonalidades y sabores. Es impresionante pensar que un personaje como Chuck o Cliff coexisten con personajes como Don Eladio y Juan Bolsa. Totalmente nada que ver pero del mismo universo.

Jesse might have survived, But you can argue that he did still die inside

With bcs concluded, this is something I want to come back to. Ofcourse, the tribute isn't perfect but the dedication to make something so beautiful out of a franchise this good just brings a smile to my face.

“It’s solution dissolution” was when I realized this edit was perfectly crafted, it gave me goosebumps the way Walt’s monologue lines up perfectly with how the camera focus shifted, bravo man perfect edit for a perfect trilogy.
