Lucy's channel has an extensive review of the Don Pancho, whose food looked excellent. What was offered at the Sol looked pretty decent to me... yes, the beans were a bit runny but you dealt with that on the spot. It never ceases to amaze me the extent of tiny details about which people feel entitled to insist what you should do or should have done. Just eat what you like and review what you want to.

Yes Don Pancho food is incredibly good. Great Hotel

Mister Macmaster gotta give it a 7/10 simply due to the variety of breakfast choices on offer..& if it comes with the all in charge then that is a plus as there's something for everyone including chips 🍟 👌

Going solely on appearances, I'd give the breakfast a 7. A decent fry-up, wide choice of cooked meat and cereal. I imagine the calm atmosphere of the dining room might be a little different an hour or so later though.

Hi Lee, it looks very similar to our hotel breakfast ,we are staying at The Benidorm Plaza. We have had many other hotel type breakfasts and they are all similar. You summed it up perfectly it serves a purpose and sets you up for the day. 👍

I think 5.2 is a tad low - plenty of choice and all looked reasonable for mass catering. Hope you video the dinner in the Pelicanos. Enjoy!

Hi there, another great video local Waze just to say very interesting to watch to see what it is like in the hotel breakfast. I didn’t like to look at some of the things. I do agree some of the bacon looked very pale and if I was going to market, I think I know a lot of people might get there, but I think I would only give it 3.5 that’s my opinion I just didn’t like to look at some of the stuff but like always I say to you you do you do a fantastic job with your videos and showing what things are like and you do not put any front on it you just do it as it is genuine. Keep up the good work

Looked a standard hotel buffet breakfast, if I can have cereals and toast I’m quite happy so would be fine for me. Like you say is serves a purpose and there was a good choice. Enjoy your trip Lee 👍☀️🍺

That took me back 25 years to a Sol hotel I stayed at in Majorca, generally ropey, but managed to soak up hangover. Don't worry about the toaster LEE, I had to use one when I was a chef for the Pate starter, back 30 years ago. I'd give it 5.2 too. The coffee looked better than I had. If I recall there should be a temperature control switch on the toaster.

Great choice of breakfast would be happy with that i would have went for 6.5 because of the choice cheers Mac looking forward to the next vlog.

I'd say I'd be able to get by alright with what's on offer there (and I'm a fussy enough eater!) Sausages did look brave and ropey, though. I have an issue with scrambled eggs in Spain. They taste strange for me; think they use olive oil with them. Miss the Spanish coffee big time...I love it so much!!

Have you been to the hotel in Benidorm called Gran Hotel Bali? You can get the lift for free to the viewing plat form, I’d recommend getting the exterior lift to the top it’s a grey experience.

Why would anyone go and pay for a breakfast when you have it in your hotel, with a massive choice of cooked breakfast, fruit and continental style?

Agree. We stayed a couple of yrs ago. Food was lovely in our opinion

Hopefully the breakfast is better in the Sandos Benidorm Suites when us lads go in a couple of weeks. Great video as usual.

I only got back yesterday but highly recommend cafe refuel in the old town, had the fillet stake from there was unreal and the breakfasts are 10/10

I always look for the round switch on the side of the macine that gives you some colour on the toast.

Stayed at the Sol Pelicanos many times and as you say the breakfast is "ok", i would rate it as 6/10. It will sort you out for the day but had a better full english at other places like Yorkshire Pride and Wookey Hollow 2. Best thing about the Sol Pelicanos is the pool area.

The continental breakfast looks great. They've even got membrillo and magdalenas - perfect with a cafe con leche.

Hi Lee, First the hotel looks fine, hygiene looks good. Breakfast to be honest looks like a typical Espania hotel, I wouldn’t complain mate. I’ll be in Bemindorm in the middle of April, as we love the place, lost count of how many times we have had the pleasure 👍🏻 for those who haven’t 🙈 you don’t know what your missing. For nice surroundings and views and a good breakfast try “The Jungle” on the sea front beside Tiki Beach, we normally have one day a week there. 🌞🏖☀🏝🍹☀

Was over in Benidorm a couple of weeks back and I would recommend The Winning Post for a breakfast. Brilliant food and incredible value for money 👍🏻

Stayed there 30 years ago when it was called the Los Pelicanos, we renamed it the Doss Pelicanos. Beef stew on the menu one night, my Mum fished out half a rabbits skull complete with teeth out of her dish of 'beef stew'. She was hopping mad.

Great review of sol pelicanos breakfast. They are all pretty much the same , not the best but you always manage to find something to eat. Would be good to see Dinner also.

I have stayed there a few times because it’s cheap mainly. It is what it is, not brilliant quality but as you say serves a purpose. Score a little more than yours at 6. I only stay there when visiting my relatives. Usually only there over night so ok.

Yep always toast first, juice,coffee then the big fry up, It's never 5 star food at these hotels but it will do to fill up before an afternoon session on the strip, Keep up the great work,love watching pal 👍

7/10 for the Breakfast 10/10 for the choice. I've had a lot of these hotel breakfasts abroad and I've always been impressed with the selection on offer.

Hi Lee , we have stayed at the pelicanos a few times and have tried the breakfast and like you say it serves a purpose, we though knocked it on the head pretty poor quality , I’d give it 2 out of 10 that’s for the fruit 😆. instead went to the Yorkshire pride where you get a proper breakfast and a good brew , you might have to wait a little but we’ll worth it 👍

The breakfast options look good. This reminds me of the buffet breakfast I had with my cousin in Tenerife back in 2014 at cleopatra hotel

I went there last May had a week there and enjoyed the los pelicarnos 👍by the looks of the surroundings we had exactly the same room ha ha ha 😂really ! , the breakfast is what it is and it gets very busy a bit later from 9 onwards, one tip with the toaster always turn the setting up , it’s so much quicker ! Get ya T / Coffee first Toast then ya breakfast ! Your get the hang of it 😊 Sometimes I leave the toast till when I’ve eaten the brekky and get a donut as well , great blog mate I’d give the breakfast a 7 apparently they do do hash browns too enjoy Beni 👍

Disney's Frozen yogurt cups 😂😂😂 I would have made toasted sandwiches with all those meat choices and cheeses. Pack them for free snacks for the day. I would give their buffet an uneasy 8/10. Great vlog Lee as always 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Like yourself, I had a fair few all included brekkys while on holibobs. This tho looked alight mate! Good selection, and you said it was warm too! Those bloody toasters tho 🙂

Try staying at Ambassador playa next time Lee. They do a great breakfast with proper English back bacon. It’s the hotel with the pink balconies.

Just stayed there last week and I thought you were a bit harsh with a 5.5 ..they had 4 different types of sausages and 3 types of fresh orange juice which were all top notch I'd give it a 9 for the choices of different kinds of breakfast you could have

Santa Gloria coffee shop as you walk into the old town on the right hand side just up from the bank on the corner. The coffee in there is very good 👓

We're booked in there in June I have heard the food isn't great we're B&B but the pool area looks great and breakfast are available for a reasonable price so sticking with it, 6 out of 10, because of the range of food 👍 Btw I believe my Mrs said hello when you filmed at the Indian restaurant on your last visit, she had just arrived 👍

With those toasters I always find the temperature switch and turn it up .

Bog standard set up for Benni that mate. It's more or less the same in the hotels I have stayed at . I usually havec2 crusty rolls one with sausage in the other with bacon in .Can't be bothered with toast machines especially if queing up.

What an hotel ,you spoilt for choice what to have for breakfast ,them dognuts looked nice ,i stayed at the Rio park last time I was in benidorm ,but the sol pelicanos looks a lot better ☀️☀️

Try a servigroup hotel

I think you should go to butlins Minehead for weekend and try the breakfast , they are much nicer than the food in benidorm, I give that a 5 out of 10 x

few years ago when we was there went for breakfast after about a week walked in to find two men worse for wear ... drinking the shampagne or sparking wine 8/9ish in the morning and yes its on the right next to the fruit !!

Hi Mac, stayed 6 weeks over Xmas, best breakfast was German cafe with the baby swings outside, near where Lucy interviewed you same alley as Henrik bar off Mediterranean, opposite and along from the casino.

Stayed half board here a few years back and one of the lads was eating all sort of steaks and fish. He came down with food poisoning on the final day and we had to leave him in Benidorm - he ended up in hospital for a bit. That was our one and only time staying half board - been self catering every time since as it was too much of a school dinner vibe. Seemingly this is one of the better hotel restaurants in Benidorm. Wouldn't like to see the norm ...

Can’t beat The Yorkshire Pride for the full English👍👌

I’ve stayed there few times and the food was fantastic when I stopped there only thing them beans look very watery when I go I get my juice coffee toast before I go for the food roll on 23rd of May we off to palma nova Majorca staying at the sol palma nova hotel all inclusive

Looked an ok breakfast Lee. I guess if it all came with the room it’s a not half bad job. Never got to see any of the Benidorm series. I like the idea of a buffet breakfast as you can just help yourself to cereals, fruit, yogurt, sweet treats, pastries and your full English items. Can’t really knock it Lee😉👍

Your about spot on with your mark.I said 5.5.Bacon looked poor.I would have had the full english,but my 2nd plate would have been a cold cut.Then fruit 2 finish with.

hi lee. thanks for another great review .i must say the fried eggs did not look very appetising.the rest was ok best thing was the toast and tomatoes.i have found that with the rotary toaster people mess around with the settings so sometimes the toast is barely done and on the other its black .enjoy rest of your stay mate.

For mass catering it looked not bad a very good selection to choose from for me 7 . I agree though those toasters drive me mad.

It was horrible when we went last September. Ate out all the other days. 1/10

WOOOH that balcony shot span me out , i don't do high , made the old legs turn to jelly . What happens if there's an earth quake? (thats just me being daft ). Never wanted to go to Benidorm , always seems a bit Blackpool in the sun to me .But that's my never been there opinion , so its great to see your take on it . Although i am told the old town is something else .

Why not visiting Villajoyosa ? It's 5 miles from Benidorm and one of the most beautiful seefronts from Spain ! I can always come and get you . I am a Belgian living in la cala by Benidorm

Ours is included in May but to be honest when you've a stinking hangover doing it's thing that process of grabbing your drinks getting a table getting your food then doing your toast can be an odeal. U can't beat finding a bar and ordering
