I heard this the other day after not hearing it for years that I was like oh yeah, I remember this. I loved the song back when it first came out and I still do. I've unfortunately been through a relationship with a narcissist and my mother was 12 so for me, this is like saying, I don't care how you feel, you can feel about me however you want but it's not going to break me. I'm okay without you and I don't care what you think of me.

If I can't buy them snakeskin or call off of work to spend time with them it's over. I still like listening back to this song for the good reasons, yo remind me of when life was a lot easier and I got to spend so much time with my friends who listened to thus song with me.

Somehow seether has never gotten old. They're the first rock band I started listening to and still my favorite. Their music is just perfect for me I love it, so glad they exist.

Yeah it's about the break up. Honestly this song's lyrics are as if they were pulled from my own brain in relation to my most recent break up. It's incredible, because I am a musician myself, and usually never do the whole "dedicate someone else's song to someone" thing. I usually just write my own for my own expression. But I couldn't have written a better song for how I feel about that break up myself. Shaun states exactly how I feel here. Word for word. I imagine his break up with Amy was very similar to mine with my ex. Drugs weren't involved, but still.

People have mistreated me all my life. I wish they could all hear this song at the same time so they know what they're missing out on.
