Contrary to popular opinion, I actually really love this new type of “breakcore” that’s been showing up the past couple years.mI know it’s all jungle and dnb, but coming from a guy who first got into breakcore then found jungle through these types of “breakcore mixes”, I’ve been loving it. @@StarHorder nah breakcore is still yet to be mixed with other genres, there’s so many things you could get out of it by adding in some techno, house, dubstep, and various pop or rnb. The potential is limitless, and even more so with breakcore, because it’s so experimental to begin with

There's no breakcore in here It's all just dnb and jungle tracks and if you don't think so then listen to various dnb songs and jungle ones, then listen to some older (2-4 years older) breakcore songs and see the difference.

yes breakcore is a sub-genre of dnb though. In current times (2021-2023) breakcore hasn't been "breakcore", it's been dnb. And it's been recent that it started to be enjoyed more. I know there is a difference, but this is what almost every new enjoyer is used too and what they want to hear.

Calling songs like these won't help the situation and there's absolutely no need to fuel the fire. I'm also sure you'd be getting almost the same amount of views while titleing the videos with dnb and jungle if that's what you're going for.

breakcore has chopped and more complex breaks, is often at higher tempos, and is generally very noisy and chaotic. dnb has more consistent/repetitive and simple breaks, uses a lot of bass, usually isn't as fast as breakcore, and is generally a bit calmer. i may be wrong, but an example of breakcore would be pbr3 by doormouse or ultraviolent junglist by venetian snares and an example of dnb would be ecifircas by sewerslvt and ahh! my dnb by goreshit

But please look at every other mix from the past 6 months. Almost none of them are actual "breakcore", for people who are just getting into it, they'll consider this "breakcore" because they don't know anybetter. The way the YT algorithm works purely by title and tags in desc. Most of the viewers are new "breakcore" enjoyers, and this is what they expect when they click on a mix. I can't make everyone happy, but I can make some people (1.5k likes), and that I'm happy with. What others has to say doesn't matter, I don't care. I really enjoyed making it, and I'm having a good time so thats all that matters, others opinions don't mean anything
