Studying limits of the function, I came across several exercises where the x goes in the numerator and the denominator. In what situations, from real life, does my x remain in this situation, could you show it algebraically?

First of all, thanks for responding. Indeed I'm researching for explanations how obtain a function about, modeling I mean. So math in calculus I, II and III use to be very abstract, like "given the function..." OK, it is possible to solve it but how to obtain that function? That is the question. Modeling about revenue like P(x)= R(x) - C(x) it's okay for obtaining, but when we are talking about limit, integration, derivation, with the incognito in the numerator either denominator, and etc I really would like to understand it... Mathematics can become more interesting in that way. Thanks a lot!

Is cost fun to variable cost , it is not why you add 30 which is TFC

If you sell too little than your revenue will not cover your cost and if you sell above your maximum point your costs will supersede your revenue pointing you at a loss.

what happens with the 2 when you are factoring? I got 7000 and 0

Vertex, axis of symmetry, of the parabola is at the mid of two x-intercepts. So, you need to find the average, x = (6 + 1)/2 = 3.5. Hope that helps. Thanks
