Fiercely competitive World Cup matches are the true test.......when real national teams are assembled. Brazil is currently in a World Cup Championship drought even with Neymar and other top Brazilian ballers. Nonetheless, time will tell.

@@UpParkCamp the thing is that previously brazil did not have too much competition, it´s not just that brazil has been weaker in recent years is that other teams are actually strong enough to compete now. teams like croatia, france, spain, england, portugal etc have much stronger squads than back then. when brazil last won world cup the only strong teams were brazil, germany and france all other teams were weak argentina were super weak between maradona and messi era, they were absolute disaster from 1995 to 2014. today just look at south american world cup qualifier, teams like ecuador beat uruguay, venezuela draw with brazil and colombia beat brazil, brazil is currently 6th place in qualifiers which shows south american football is getting more and more competitive which is very exciting for the future. colombia and ecuador have a lot of young talents, it´s not just argentina and brazil anymore, while both argentina and brazil still have a lot of young super talents coming up so does other south americans teams don´t be surprised if there is a new world cup winning country from south america soon, i could also see countries like croatia winning world cup soon as well

@@ChrisE-iy7ok I fully understand your comment. The competition has grown globally, rapidly, and even become more physical where sheer brute force in the game, eclipses skill. Brazil has long been notorious for skillful ball play. And don't forget those African countries, as their ballers are becoming surprisingly competitive.

@@UpParkCamp i agree. nigeria especially have a nice football history with some nice football. i still expect south america and europe to dominate world cups but i can see countries, like colombia ecuador, croatia or nigeria one of them could become the first new world cup winner since spain in 2010 within the new 3 or 4 world cups i would not be shocked

@@ChrisE-iy7okI am Brazilian and I have been following Brazilian football all my life. I can say with absolute certainty that the best generation of Brazilian players since 2006 is coming. I believe that Brazil will return to dominate world football. And I don’t say this because of these two players in particular, but because a fantastic generation is coming. Unfortunately, there is still a lack of investment in youth development for future stars, but some clubs like Palmeiras are doing this very well.

É fato que hoje o espaço nas grandes ligas europeias é menor, e os atacantes são instruídos a jogar mais pelo coletivo, marcar pressão e outras coisas que o desgastam na hora que possuem a bola. Brazil's usual problem is the lack of quality Brazilian coaches. So much so that in Brazil the majority of coaches are foreigners. As long as Brazil is coached by Brazilians, who are tactically far below their European counterparts, it will be difficult to win a World Cup again. Brazil won its last World Cups because it had Romário, Bebeto, Raí, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Kaká and others in its squad.

@kronozz_ well, to be honest at the moment, Lamine Yamal seems to be much better than Endrick. Lamine Yamal is a complete player. He can dribble in tight space and create plays as well. His playing style and qualities seems a bit like Ronaldinho.
