Braze Repair on a Broken Casting Part 2

Ойын-сауық

We finish the machine work on the brazed up pump housing. I'll show the indicating involved in the Pacemaker, machining and facing, then we'll move over to the milling machine to open up the holes that were brazed up.

Hi Adam, another great video and as mentioned earlier, hats off to your employer for allowing your work and experience to be shared with us, much appreciated. As much as I enjoyed the repair I also enjoyed the dialling up of the job in the 4 jaw. I am a newbie to milling/turning but I know in my industry we have a number of adages to help us remember stuff and I can remember working with an American engineer once and she used the adage "Righty tighty, lefty loosey". I chuckled at the time but working on some machinery in weird, disorientating positions sometimes I here myself repeating it. You mentioned one "loosen highs, tighten lows" which I made a note off as I know it will be a help next time I am dialling in a job. Like I said I am a newbie and youtube is my learming tool so if you have anymore I would appreciate them. Many thanks again, Gordon
