Brawler mutations could be something about a new skin rarity. There was a survey recently that asked people whether they would want skins more expensive than legendaries and mutations could be the extra feature that these skins have. I don't know how it would work, but for example if the mortis skin in the surveys used a hypercharge or went on a killstreak then it could transform into the dragon design. And the silhouette you said might be colt also looks kind of like belle imo, which could make sense as she is part of the thug trio

There is something I noticed. That silhouette has parts which look like the helm of a ship (i dont if its called that. I mean the flag part) and a harpoon. So maybe its like a monster picking up a ship? Or a shark brawler destroying a ship used for hunting?

Super city rampage had a dinosaure running around... Might be coming back ??

I feel instead of godzilla, it could be the new castle trio brawler. The "mouth" of godzilla is a feather in their hat and the bit at the end of the "tail" is most likely a crossbow imo.

Yes it's a game mode and new brawlers. And maybe now hypercharge will change certain brawlers completely when activated. So I guess Gene, Mortis, Nita and Bea are getting hypercharge.

I don't think we need another addition to brawlers after hypercharges😅

To me, mutations in games are some sort of upgrade. Based on that, I think it’s going to be an upgrade to either hypercharges or skins. I think the city theme could be a game mode similar to the hypercharge event, where you could win either a new currency, points, etc. I think bea, Nita, and fang, maybe also buzz, are going to be the first brawlers to get the mutations. Kind of like how colt, Shelly, and the other brawlers were the first to get hypercharges. If that is what mutations are, then I am sure they deal with cosmetics because Nita and bea don’t have hy7percharges. Onto the brawler. Usually, (from my bad memory) the brawlers silhouettes are facing the other direction from what Rey was talking about, so I think the tail is an arm and the smooth side is a cape or something. I want him to be a thrower since we haven’t gotten one in a bit, however my real guess is an assassin like buzz. Its would explain why he could join the buzz and Doug trio, since they would have closer ranges. When I think of Godzilla, think he would be a really beefy character (as in having a lot of hp). I would also think that a dinosaur/godzilla would have closer ranged attacks, which is why I think he’s going to be an assassin. At 12:29 to me that looks like belle. It could be colt but the hair looks more like belles. I just realized I put more effort into this than essays for school😂

Before watching the vid- im having a feeling that the term "mutation" refers to maybe a rework to robot city rampage or maybe a new pvE mode ,my other theory is that maybe it could be related to hypercharges ,tbh not sure about this cuz hypercharges are already balanced and good in the current situation ,i also dont understand the brawl talk title"mutations will break the game " probably not a new resource or new powers(ex:hypercharges ,gadgets ,starpowers etc ) tbh i hope that this brawl talk is good and promising to all players cuz the recent update are really making the players rage ( mega pig and ranked) Idk maybe i could be wrong i would also like to hear yo theories about this maybe try might find and read our comments :) --Sorry for typing too much-_-

Probably the "Mutation" could be a thing you can once in a match use and it will give an reload speed and movement speed boost. Very similar to the Hypercharges but it can be used with out charging like a gadget.

character remixs would be so cool like if a brawler has a special gimmick they can keep it special but do more with it

Maybe the mutations is the new mode, kinda like super city rampage where players who plays against lets say godzilla will get special powers or will be mutated to fight with that monster

So for the mecha colt skin photo im thinking, the hacker skin set looking at the top left silhouette, kinda looks like belle or charlie. also has an arm. The charlie skin also has an arm in the hacker skin set. Bea is also in that skin set But what about the 2 silhouettes on the right? Larry and Lawrie

If I remember right....when they released the Mecha Colt art to promote the skin, we weren't able to pull the photo back, it was just focused on the skin. So I think they were hiding the rest to promote this new "mutation" thing. And tbh, it's giving me real zombie vibes! So maybe a game mode where one brawler is a zombie, and their goal is to mutate and get stronger, or they infect everyone, while the others have to work together to eliminate the original zombie to stop the mutation from spreading or something? It's just a thought, but I'm excited to find out!! Also, love your content Rey! ❤

What I see from this is a dragon/monster from How To Train Your Dragon. Based on the 2019 animated show it featured a dragon that used scrap metal to bulk its self up. From the outline of the brawl it seems like the brawl will start off weak and super will be to collect scraps from the group to ramp up. The brawl could also be from the monster take down event that showed an electronic Godzilla. Either way I think the dragon and outline brawl are two different people.

Yall are excited about mutations but have you thought about MUTATED COSTS???

I agree i feel mutations are cosmetic. I think its going to be an upgrade to legendary skins, i feel the mutations are going to occur during a brawlers hypercharge, similar to legendary death animations

The thing with mutations being mechanic is that hyper charge has not been around for too long. Another thing to consider it that less then half of the brawlers don’ have a hyper charge and only a small percentage of players have all of the hyper charges so I doubt it will be a new mechanic. If anything it will have some thing to do with cosmetics.

Kind of looks like a Golem, but idk what those smooth things at the back are, maybe some tools or a grappling hook?

The mutations may be sort of an boost to an brawler like you activate it and it gives you coins more throphies xp but if you lose you dont have the mutation anymore.(I am probably wrong but whatever)

I think mutation is like an evolution. Maybe, that's why on the survey, mortis' skin has a version of a dragon or something. Which could be his "mutation". And i think the brawlers can have special abilities. But not like hypercharge

Yeah maybe mutations are an alternate ability for Power 11 for brawlers whose super doesn't lend itself well to a fun hypercharge concept. So basically one brawler might have a hypercharge, but another brawler might get a mutation instead. Mortis would benefit from getting a mutation over a hypercharge because imo it's hard to imagine a hypercharge ability for him that is fun and exciting. An ability that allows Mortis to transform and get a wild stat increase would be way more fun and exciting compared to a hypercharge imo.

I think mutations may be like a stat point system. So every level (or every other level) u get a mutation point and u can use it to upgrade brawler hp dmage speed exetera. I hope its a stat point system bc then there will be more stratagie for every brawler.

what i think mutation will be is a club based bossfight game mode. and the mutated brawlers will be the boss. i think that makes a lot of sense since the devil mortis is a very different style to be a skin.

I think mutations are going to be mainly cosmetic with a few different options and each option may give that brawler a little bit of a boost in a certain aspect or like a specific small ability, not like a hypercharge or super but like just add a little bit of something to their main attack/super

Maybe it could be like a Japanese night time city. where Godzilla is intruding, the tech themed skins like virus Charlie, and The Fang and Larry And Lawrie skins could all fit

I think mutations could be like a 2nd hypercharge but for main attack, and you can only have a hypercharge or mutation activated like choosing which star power to use

I think it is something like the Gadgets happening once a game allowing brawlers to get some very good powers Like Hypercharge but for more time, Drawback being Slow reload speed 3 second for one ammo if mutated That is my Idea

I think they're bringing back super city rampage in the form of a PVE rework that Frank talked about in the Brawl Talk with Sam and Gus about 2 years ago. Mutations will probably be the persistent power ups that Frank also mentioned in the same Brawl Talk

4:51 my guess for the silhouette is its left arm is raised up with its right arm down at its side. so the jaggedness we see on the left of the silhouette is its back and running down its right arm, while it’s smooth part is its torso and underside of its left arm. and if its left arm is raised then the topmost part of the silhouette could be it holding a weapon. imagine it attacks with ships lmao

I think it will be like a community event or something. They said that we should join active and full clubs because there will be some sort of community event

I predict mutation is a new trait / ablility for every brawler and they evolve the more you play them and each time they evolve they gain a stat buff related to their kit (this would be balanced since it would not be p2w)

maybe that brawler/skin is godzilla and since godzilla is radioactive it could be that those mutations are radioactive. that could also be the reason their eyes are green

I bet you they’ll be random drops on the map that you pick up and give you some kind of modifier temporarily in game. Like they give you shield, damage, speed, quick reload, etc.

Hoping that the possible new brawler is for Ash/Grom trio. That trio hasn't had a new member in so long, they deserve one. Maybe the potential brawler is like a Trash-zilla? Kinda hoping it isn't Velocirapids trio, just because I think the last one in the trio should work there, rather than actually be the water park.

What i would like to see them do with mutations is announce that after they finish completing the current unfinished trios in the game they will no longer add new brawlers but will instead add mutations for each brawler, these mutations will give the brawler new playstyles. This way, there wont get a point where they run out of ideas for brawlers and then they can focus on making the brawlers we already know more recognisable

I don't think mutations will be a new combat feature...I'd figure SuperCell would want to finish hypercharges for all brawlers before adding another combat feature. Then again, who knows!

I wonder if it'll be like the star mechanic in Clash Royale, where it's purely a cosmetic upgrade for a ton of effort

i personally think that mutations will be like a hypercharge rework since they announced they are making hypercharges easier to get also i think the silhouette is a sea monster that has a bunch of trash and litter on his body maybe to bring awareness to water pollution
