yeah no theres 100% almost nothing you can do to prepare for something like that in advance.. the best way for them to avoid crashes is to do what they already did.. you cant pre patch a hole you have to make sure there isnt going to be too much water.. other than them releasing them to different time zones at different times what they are doing now is the best thing possible from what i can see

if im being completely honest.. Im not disappointed at all.. It makes sense that they would rather delay it if it means not killing the entire game.. They are still giving us them just not instantly i kind of assumed it would be like at least 24 hours after we hit the goal anyways tbh it just kind of makes sense.. The dev team hasn't really let us down before so it makes sense for us to be able to trust them blindly.. although if so many people are bothered by this maybe they should give everyone an extra 25 🤭

I felt like I opened so many rare starr drops and I would be very disappointed if I didn't get the legendary starr drops but we are competing with millions of people so the likelihood is low. And 100 starr drops is an insane amount so there is no reason for me to complain. Also I don't think the Devs didn't think we'll make it, it's more they didn't anticipate us making it a day or so before the deadline, they probably didn't anticipate the amount of people who would return, or make accounts due to this community event. I'm just grateful we have events like these.

My main problem with the drops only being available tomorrow is that the servers will probably fail anyways so it be kinda pointless if they do fail 😅

my theory is, it will come out today but they put the blog post out to make people leave their servers

If they give it in the shop i will be so mad it will lag every single stardrop 😒

with my calculations with an approximate average of 7 million active players multiplied by 100 starr drops, the servers will experience giving out 700,000,000 starr drops (one per 3 seconds). with that said, if the servers are strong enough to hold all of this, the servers will suffer for 2,100,000,000 seconds or a SOLID 66,54 years, if each player opens all of them on a row (or queue), if all at once, it has to survive 7 million starr drops every 3 second all the way till 5 minutes (300 seconds) has passed. however, with every announced line of code to the receiver (or so called phone app) is required 0.00001 kilowatts, with a single starr drop code line send to a player, it takes 70 kilowatts for one drop to be sent (or requested) and with all 100 starr drops, it will use 7000 kilowatts for the entire 5 minutes, and with that, supercell will need to pay 840$ (USD) for their electricity bill, which so you know a wind turbine makes ~7000 kilowatts for half of a day. With all that i said, Supercell will lose an entire 0.0046154% of their earinings (not included the server upgrading value)

supercell would probably always know if the community will finish an event based on previous statistics so they would know exactly the numbers to make an event be 100% possible while also being a challange. also when there was the event where we could get infinite legendary drops the event ended right before we got one more but supercell increased it by one more day to "compensate for an hour of maintanence".
