I loved this mode!! And yes.. a team without Gale was most likely to lose. I think they should return all these modes, alternating in a slot available only on weekends, but with the possibility to ban brawlers for both teams. 🤣

You have missed Life leech!! Graveyard shift had it’s older version which was pretty similar but was different in some mechanics. So it is actually removed but it got reworked in the form of graveyard shift.

They really just needed to put lone star and takedown on a smaller map and have tighter respawn areas, a lot of the community felt like the game modes would’ve been fine had they just done that

I enjoyed playing takedown because it was like boss fight but with 10 people, and to win you needed to deal the most damage. I’ll miss it 😢

I loved when I went around the map collecting cubes and rushed the robot and instantly got #1

Super city rampage was NOT dull! I have so many good memories of pushing that mode with a friend who did the Gale glitch.

Not a game mode, but the msot unique thing that was added in the pirate update: Darryl's ship. Some maps would be on it and would tilt, making it harder or easier to walk in a direction. It was back in the april fool's update, but without the ship part.

Darryls ship was first added in 2019, not on some april fools update

Not really forgotten, but heist used to be a lot different. One team was trying to destroy the safe, and the other was fully on the defensive.

Honestly I'm a huge fan of the dinosaur weekly event. Its like boss fight but without having to grind for 5 minutes, and it was exciting to run from it

I missed hunters so much , I get my first r35 (stu) while he have the gadget glitch, it is fun to play with but sadly that the community doesn’t think so

How about- Takedown Lone Star Hunters Last Stand Volleybrawl Honestly, I miss Volleybrawl. I think it could work well if they just made gadgets unusable in the landing zone as well as making brawlers take reduced knockback in it. Lone Star/Hunters COULD work, but I think instead of takedowns or stars, it should be based on overall damage output to prevent kill thieves. Takedown was rough, but it had its charm. I guess you could adjust it for it to be more fun, but it'd take a lot of gradual tweaking. Last Stand wasn't great imo lol

Takedown, I loved that you could get up to 100 power cubes and defeat the bot in 3 shots. Also Bot Drop, I think it needed changes and it would have been good, but it just wasn't fun.

I miss payload so much it was one of my favorite modes :( I really wish they had an unranked "arcade" mode for gamemodes like siege, volleybrawl and bot drop too

The thing I remember is rampage it was very fun with the gale glitch you can go beyond

I think all of these game modes were in 2022. I stopped playing Brawlstars in the middle of it. Anyway, I forgot the name of the game mode that was from a long time ago. The objective was to do a lot of damage to a big bot. In the game, you had powercubes around you that spawned every 10 seconds or so. You could be killed by both players and the bot. I see that you have a lot of potential for the future, so enjoy the sub! #Roadto300subs

Man i remember playing that game mode too, it was released alongside with lone star rework they did last year, don't remember the name tho and I'm still playing to this day. Can remember it being some sort of showdown but with the boss robot that became invincible every sometime too

Funny thing was, I started out brawl stars while rampage existed. I met this random who used Nita and destroyed the boss because of the healing star power. That's when I decided to put all my coins and power points in Nita so I can do the same :D Sadly, rampage got removed and all that time putting coins into Nita were wasted

@@hamstermuncher6688 sadness 😿 I was actually the first in the world to get insane 16 with Nita ( and 2x Pam )🧚🏻‍♂️ Before that the only known strategy was 3x Pam. Later some genius added crow ( with 25% less damage sp ) What a game changer 🙂🌸. On Asian server they actually used Edgar- Belle - 8 bit. Sadly I found out after the game was removed, would have loved to try that!

I would love to see Lone Star, Siege and Volleybrawl again, they were so fun!

Do you remember the pirate update? In the update we got a new map type: the ship. When you played in this map at any gamemode there was a chance that this battle has that "TILT" modifier. Of course at the time nobody knew what that was, and why was that and eveyone thaught that that giant tentacle moved the ship, but it was fun. When I saw that challange and its modifier I was so flummoxed and happy that I can see it again. what about you?

My most favourite mode of all is the Basketbrawl. Tho it's a rare mode in the game since it only appear once in awhile so it kinda feels like it doesn't exist sometimes but I hope they will add it to the rotation way quicker because it's actually a fun mode

The tilting hot zone isn't new. It was a thing on "Darryl's ship" maps, which was a thing in 2018 or 2019. *(I can't remeber it's been so long)* But rest i do remember.

at the end of 2019. because when christmas was around, we got a pirate themed update.

i think the main reason these specific gamemodes were so unpopular was because you couldnt easily turn the game around unlike in showdown, gem grab, brawl ball et cetera

I don't remember the name, but there was a mode like boss fight, but solo showdown. Who dealt the most dmg before boss died - won. You could also get power cubes from spawners around the map... Or players. This was Deffenetly a unique one and interesting concept. But. Well. You know the ones who just went around for kills?

Tilting was added to the game first in 2020 (maybe) at the pirate update, and the new gamemode, present plunder was on a ship, and the ship was tilting. It was not intoduce at the challenge!

The problem with payload was that the hotboxes on the cart made it literally unplayable, other than that it would've probably been a great mod

As someone who is playing since global release i can say that I actually enjoyed all these game modes (maybe except one or two)

You mentioned burning ball as an effect on maps, but it was a game mode for a while, it was on daily rotation for maybe 2 weeks? It was pretty fun, getting kills with the ball was fun, like passing it to someone under 1000hp

IF you missed any? You missed a ton. Volley brawl, takedown, lone star, bot drop, basket brawl, mystery mode, present plunder/trophy thieves/snowtel thieves, and more (I feel like many didn’t notice, but 8-bit’s last stand is gone too, it was only temporary)

@@hamstermuncher6688 basket brawl is a temporary game mode that came out in summer of 2021. They brought it back on certain occasions, just like they brought back present plunder on some occasions (under a different name), but these game modes are still not permanent

I personally love volleyball the most. It was fun.

Payload and burning ball were my two favourite. Also the profile still shows how high you got on the super city rampage so it might come back. Also liking siege is based. It was a bad game mode, felt mostly one sided

You mentioned TAKEDOWN a bit but it was always my favourite Where its a solo showdown type of game where you try and deal the most damage to the big bot in the middle. It came out in the season of Belle along with i believe lone stars. Such a good memory

Ive played all of them but I definitely loved Power Play and Showdown+ the most.

City rampage was my favorite mode and I was so sad when I came back to the game after a couple months and it just wasn't there :( but omg I didn't realize they got rid of siege! ...Yeah, I seriously loved city rampage 😭it's mostly nostalgia based. I played it way more than either of the other bot events before the 2 month break. Still, thank you for making this video! It was nice to watch

Tilting actually wasn’t a new thing! Back when Tick was added to the game they did a pirate themed time and some maps were pirate boats. Then they would tilt from one side to the other

Showdown + was definitely my favorite game mode. Insane trophies, high skill cap showdown and you can't get cheese by a 3 meta brawler comp

I hope they bring back tilt as a thing in the pirate ship theme, it was so cool

New years 2019/2020 they added The mode that is snowtel thieves today, but used to be on a ship that would tilt. I loved it so much

showdown plus was good for farming trophies but after a while, the mode has been removed that made me a little sad because this mode was good and have no intention of removing this mode was bad the duels gamemode is now a official gamemode and it will not be removed but still rest in peace showdown plus

The problem with Siege, was stomping, sure you can get stomp on other game modes but those games there is a way to make a comeback, but not in siege, when a team is well coordinated or they had and op brawler you could miss the center of the map pretty quickly, leading to loss many bolts and way harder to make a comeback than other modes, which caused many players no surrender pretty quickly on a game mode that last double than other games, it was just pretty painful and slow experience

Ik this isn’t a game mode but does anyone remember the pirate ship environment? It tilted and affected speed which was cool

Man all these forgotten gamemodes bring back great memories. They should have an event that temporarily brings back old gamemodes.

Showdown+ actually helped with teamers. Because in regular showdown once someone spins and forms a team then it creates a bad experience

I came back to brawl stars after like 2 years and so many modes got removed. And now it's gotten a little stale with how many modes there are left. not to mention club league and all the weekend challenges gone. Today we got a new update with basket ball back (I think?) so cool

Tilting was actually added as a modifier in December of 2019 when in pirate ship themed maps had tilting mechanic

The showdown with: meteors healing zones, energy drinks, giant robot was fun IMO

Aw I missed the Payload gamemode. I took a break off of Brawl Stars in 2022 but got back in it the same year. And wow do I miss other modes like Siege

Imo Payload had a lot of potential to be a great mode if they reworked the flaws instead of scrapping the whole thing entirely. They updated super city rampage and made it better…. The Godzilla mode is pretty much it but we play as the monster and its so much more competitive and gives way better rewards (in my opinion)

I remember Siege and I absolutely hated it. The reason for that is because the enemies could alwasy get past the turret thing on the bottom and I somehow always had bad teammates.

I really wish they would bring back siege or showdown plus at least for weekly events. They were definitively my favorite removed events. And as for the april fools gamemodes, i remember actually feeling kinda sick looking at the whole world tilting (which it weirdly didn't with darryls boat)

Brawl stars should do an event at least once a year where you would be able to play on most of the removed gamemodes for like a few weeks or a month. I also hope they give showdown plus one more shot since I thought everyone loved it, but it somehow failed.

Payload actually could have been good, it just wasnt thought through enough. Siege was actually fire, just not worth the time. It also seemed impossible to win sometimes, since these blocked-of maps have been DOMINATED by throwers ... I would actually like siege to come back, we got a looot of new brawlers to test

Dino man was not dull it was a great game mode in my opinion, in the boss fight one it could go on for an hour but the Dino one had a actual intensity as you have to keep it away from buildings.
