Yes, the design of the two watches is over the top... only they are so cheap from the materials used that they are simply not for a collection. A watch with this look simply requires a better movement and a sapphire crystal. That would make this watch maybe $20 more expensive - but make it a watch even collectors love... These watches are now sold at Aldi in Germany for €35 (61% below RRP), that says it all, I think Andreas, Germany

Sorry for the late reply, if I want to convey my observation and experience, there is no problem with the quality of the material used in the products, but minor problems with the production quality are possible. In minimal designs, any manufacturing defect can become very visible, so it is necessary to have a very special production line. Braun skipped the most important part :). It definitely needs to be fixed or the brand will continue to depreciate. It's hard to understand. You're right, it doesn't have to be that cheap.

@@DURANWORKSUnfortunately, I have to point out that these watches have nothing to do with the original BRAUN company. Only the designs were used here. Basically, these watches are just a knock-off of what BRAUN used to stand for. Incidentally, I still have a radio alarm clock from BRAUN (4779 ABR 313) from the 1980s.

Less complicated is more comfortable

The design is nice, but I wouldn't go that far saying that they are well made.

“Less but better” Dieter Rams, might have made a more fitting quote in the opening frame 👍 I’d like one of these Braun watches but I read too many horror stories of poor build quality. I have the matching alarm clock which seems ok so far, perhaps I should give the watch the benefit of the doubt…

it's from imusic (mac). Called 5th Avenue Stroll (a slower version is also used, called 'buddy')

nice design - worth quality...movement like a dog on three legs...12 Euro is even to expensive.

They look a little bit cheap to be honest. The craftsmanship and materials are not looking very premium or am i wrong?
