An epilator is like waxing since it pulls the hair out from the root so it wouldn't work with IPL since you still need part of the hair to be there.

That’s a good question! They have a skin tone test on their kit. I believe the darker the tone, the harder it is for the IPL to read.

IPL systems can scar darker skin tones as well as people that tend to scar easily. Be super careful!!!! I’ve seen some horror stories from more melanin blessed people when using. They only have info about skin tones and whether to use it AFTER you buy it, in the info packet, so be sure to check before hand! Don’t waste your money!

Yes! That is correct! You will notice that over time, you'll be shaving less and the hair that grows is much finer.

@@RisasRizos I’m on my monthly treatments at Japan IPL only for my face . I wanted to try myself for the areas like legs and armpits . So it shows red light. Which means it cannot read my skin .
