Brau Supply EZ-Boil Controller

In this video we look at the features on the EZ-Boil Controller. The EZ-Boil from Auber Instruments is our new favourite temperature regulating device. It is so simple to use, you can start brewing in minutes. A single knob on the front face helps you to dial in your mash temperature and set your mash timer. It comes with a built in alarm to let you know when mash is done, and it can be programmed to easily prevent an overshoot in your mash temperature. Steven Liesch, the founder and designer of the Unibrau System goes over all the different functions on the EZ-Boil controller.
Bräu Supply offers professional grade brewing equipment for homebrewers. We design our brew systems to be modular, which means that the different brewing systems in the Unibräu line can all be used independently as they are, or parts within each of the brew systems can be used to modify the other systems to make upgrades. #electricbrewsystem #electricbrewery #whirlpool #homebrewing

Thanks for this video
I have your kettle and controller. Thanks for the video
This was incredibly helpful, thanks for putting it out there!
Hi Steven, this is the controller I chose for my UniBrau system. I love how easy it is to use and I love the tactile feedback from the knob (everything is a touchscreen these days)
can you share where you place the prob for the mash setup and where the heat element is placed?
This controller doesn't appear to have a fan. When you run a 240V heating element the SSR gets REALLY HOT. A fan should always be used to keep remove heat from the heatsink unless you're using a really large external heatsink. A 12v fan is more convenient. I'd expect the SSR to fail prematurely if a fan is not used.
