Brattleboro, originally Brattleborough, is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The most populous municipality abutting Vermont's eastern border with New Hampshire, which is the Connecticut River, Brattleboro is located about 10 miles (16 km) north of the Massachusetts state line, at the confluence of Vermont's West River and the Connecticut. In 2010, Brattleboro's population was 12,046.
Marlboro College Center for Graduate and Professional Studies and SIT Graduate Institute were located in the town until 2020. There are satellite campuses of three colleges as well: Community College of Vermont,Union Institute and University,and Vermont Technical College. The town is home to the New England Center for Circus Arts and the Vermont Jazz Center.
The Brattleboro Retreat, a not-for-profit mental health and addictions psychiatric hospital, is also located in the town.....(wikipedia)

I was born and raised in Brattleboro, Vermont. Now living in Florida this footage brings me back to when I was a kid growing up in this area. Very cool.

@@benjaminvarga9461 I left 15 years ago and would never go back. There is no money to be made. It has too much influence from out of state; both the elitist liberals and the problematic groups. If you want quintessential Vermont, go much farther north. It was great in the 80's and 90's but has since fallen far from its best days.

on April 2nd 2020 , I visited this town for first time .Drove all the way from new haven to Brattleboro.
I thought it was neat being able to see the bridge going into West Chesterfield, NH from the one going into Hinsdale. I miss this old town.

Not much has changed Russell since we went to school there. The school inside got very confusing got almost lost. So somethings have changed

Great pics but I would have loved to see the catholic church and the Episcopal church putney road west river where we use to sein near the retreat lots more to see. Thanks for this small trip down memory lane
