Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzread.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

@Marling Baits, Nate my suggestion is that you should start a wall of shame for your custom made (works of art) lures that fail to work. Just think of the stories you can tell your children and future grandchildren. Pass those lures down to your kids. Yes I hope you and your beautiful wife are blessed with all of the children that the two of you want to have. Keep your awesome design thoughts a flowin' and your custom handmade baits a throwin'! Stay safe, be blessed and take care!

You were talking about this in one of your podcast episodes--but I think that these are my favorite kinds of videos--the ones of baits that you don't see at stores, that only a homebuilder can make. It's great to see how creative you can get with your ideas, even when you don't catch anything. This was great. Thanks!

I think this would make a GREAT deep water bait. First, it's heavy and casts like a rocket, really getting down deep in a hurry. Second, it has the qualities of a spoon AND a plastic bodied bait, and with a subtle and natural action, which is even more effective in cold water conditions. Interesting concept!

I'd love to see what happens if you bend a thinner brass plate and attach it at the front and the back of the lure instead of the bottom. Maybe the back piece should be loosely jointed so that the blade can go to action city... It's amazing how your passion makes me (and your community) want to solve that kind of stuff. Truly inspirational ❤

This is awesome. Guaranteed major fish catcher and forward facing sonar niche bait for bass fishing. one suggestion, due to the amount of weight I think this bait could double as a pseudo blade bait. If you added an optional line tie on the top of the bait, the angler could choose how they wanted to fish it, as a swimming bait or a vertical yo yo style bait. I think it would have really good application both ways. Would definitely like to see this hit the market
