Can't "figure" this ONE Out! Maybe it's just a "Torture Test ".

The first time I back bladed with this tractor I saw how well they are built structurally. I have done things with this machine one shouldn't do with a tractor. Many times it surprises me, but those same times it hasn't let me down. We are happy we went with it and didn't spend the $$$$$ to get a more expensive unit which would have required at the very least 1500lbs of ballast just to do what this unit does as standard. Yes it looks like torture but if back blades very nice and rolls soil in very well compared to similar class units. Very pleased with it! Thanks for commenting! Ric

@@CornucopiaFarmstead Now l understand; " A New toy" fresh from the box. A "Reverse Wheeley" with the Front wheels No Where CLOSE to the ground for Control ; Unless it has lndependent( Dual) Stearing Brakes. A THROUGH read & Understanding of the Operator's Manual is the BEST idea for Safty, Productivity & Longevity. Just so happen to want to add this Style of Tractor to my "4 Tractor Fleet". Thank you Sir for the vidio, happy safe tractoring and best wishes with all your endeavours.

You don’t need to lift the front of the machine off the ground.

Thanks for the recommendation, I will do this to create more ground pressure or to make a larger cut in a specific direction while using the brakes independently. Thanks for the advice!

If you roll the bucket the other way and use more of the back side instead of the blade edge, it will pull harder material better and apply more pressure, so there won’t be a need for undo stress on the machine. If your tires ever come of the ground, you’re doing it wrong. You do you though!

10-4, I appreciate the advice bud and no worries, I am definitely not always right and unfortunately have learned most of my life from simply watching others or if luck would have it, be able to read or actually have a class on various concepts for different topics or specific machines ect. No worries and thanks for the advice, much appreciated. If only more others could be constructive, thank you sir! Ric

I believe so. Truth is they acquired them to have the Cummins license and for the added infrastructure in the smaller units. Most of the makers have at one point worked or shared in one way or another. The engine and the weight were the two main reasons we purchased our specific tractor. All the other brands in that hp category were well over 10k higher than what we purchased but couldn’t match weight or robustness, so we went with the 3520. A couple years later they added another range to the transmission and made this platform even better for the same price, from 12 speed to 16 speed. How can one argue with that? Hopefully the quality will continue to improve and remain an affordable option! Thanks for commenting and watching, Merry Christmas seasons greetings and Happy New year! Ric and Mel

It is ironic how most all of the manufacturers favor one for the other,or at least maybe from past generations of one to newest generation of another manufacturer. Oddly enough, most tractor manufacturers have helped many more ways than we know in production of each brand. Tractor technology is very similar which I believe is completely intentional. If you dig deep you will see the bloodlines are almost as connected as every human on the planet.... Thanks for commenting! Ric

It is possible you could have air in the system, you could have air or a leaking connection at the fuel pump, you could have debris in the line after the repair blocking fuel in either the injector or fuel line even the fuel pump. Hope this helps and good luck, Ric *this could be a coincidence also, check to make sure your fan belt is tight also. Believe it or not this will have an effect on power but also your passive regeneration filter too.

@@CornucopiaFarmstead and how would you get air out of line or filter

  • @CornucopiaFarmstead

@alexzandermoshman9222 I did the exact same thing but happen to catch the leak trail as I was about to load onto the fire, close one. If you caught the line on the bottom of the tank I seem to remember it had a nipple where the line connects to the tank. It may not leak but possibly could be drawing air and then would potentially leak only when it is running under throttle. Having said that knowing how the high pressure fuel pump sets on the engine I would do five things. First check for the potential air leaks getting in to the system. Second make sure your fuel filter has no water in it, maybe even change it. Third make sure your fuel has no water in it. Fourth make sure your air filter isn’t blocked and is clean. Fifth even though it may not have air check your high pressure fuel pump on the engine and maybe even prime it by loosening each line turning the key to make sure you get all the air out of the pump. Lastly and this isn’t directly related to the fuel but will effect power, the multiport plastic manifold mounted on the side of the particulate filter that has a couple of hoses coming off of it, if that is blocked it will reduce power also, if your fan belt is good and tight it works correctly, when the belt is loose for some reason it will effect power and how the filter works through engine rpm. Let me know what you find out and good luck bud!

@alexzandermoshman9222 the fuel filter should have a purge bolt or screw on top of it. Like with fuel lines on the fuel pump , you would loosen the connection at each line(each line leads to an injector at each cylinder) ONE line at a time, loosen turn the key to the on position but do not start, this will cycle the fuel pump. As you do this it will push air out of the system, repeat with the fuel filter first then fuel lines.
