Most of the players are out of contract, of course they are going to play within themselves to avoid injury. They have mortgages to pay, and new clubs to find, so they need to avoid injury.

Let's hope we can sign off with a decent performance at Swindon next week. A fair few of our squad are well worth tying down for the future. They are good enough to be part of a team playing good football. The players must be unsettled with our ownership situation, and that's easy to understand. They aren't making so much dough that they are not always thinking of the future and, fretting about the everyday bills like the rest of us. We start again in August, I trust Ged and his staff to put a good, well coached team on the field. COYS
