Brands Hatch - Crash and Action - BRSCC Weekend - April 2023
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The action from the BRSCCs first visit to Brands Hatch of the year, a meeting that saw racing from their array of MX5 championships, the new for this year TTCR and Evolution Trophy, MG Metro Cup and the Fun Cup. Surprised at how much grip everything seemed to have this weekend, however by the sounds of it the other side of the track was quite the opposite...
Not too many spins as such this time around, however we did have a rather nasty accident during race 2 for the MX5 Supercup...
Thankfully, no driver was 'seriously' injured, a real testament to the strength of these cars. Jack Brewer (#93) suffered some tendon damage to his leg, Simon Baldwin (#9) and James Wilson (# 425) were uninjured and correct me if I'm wrong, but unfortunately Nic Grindrod (#22) suffered a broken collar bone. Amazing work by the medical teams and marshals to sort the whole incident out and we hope to see all 4 drivers make a return in the near future; best wishes to all involved! Avoid 5:45-7:25 if you don’t wish to see the video, after all it is quite frightening - viewer discretion is advised.

Well caught with the big Mazda Supercup smash👍🏻
Brilliant camerawork 👍🏻
Never good to see cars written off like that. Good footage as always.
Man that crash at 5'48 is nasty

Wasn’t much fun being in it that’s for sure!
Were double waved yellows out for the big accident? The secondary impact looked bad.

There will have been, but the first guys have absolutely zero chance of slowing down in time. See how difficult it was for the ones behind to slow in time as well.
what the hell was the mazda 425 doing slamming on his anchors to a stand still for ? rookie error
