It is wild to change the format mid tourney in the elite 8. I personally liked the idea of the question’s being different from the normal dozen questions

The uniqueness of this tournament was the chosen categories, funny ones from Nick like “heads or tails” and “cartoon mashup”, and Dana B choosing his HS Bball category. KB having “Pennsylvania public schools” lol…. You made it a whole new tournament in the elite 8??!

From a competition standpoint it’s bs to change the rules but all of the rule changes make a better product. Having the regular categories makes it more true to the dozen. Competitors like Fran or the guys that don’t watch sports won’t stand a chance with this method

Frank’s attitude after winning is awesome. He wants to face Nick next to guarantee one of his regular season teammates would be in the Final Four.

Not really. I think this new format gives a more accurate person who is the top individual person in The Dozen. Not only do you know your own stuff and personal categories, you also know typical Dozen categories.

Christ, Frank’s last question was insanely easy. He still won because Kirk got the other Springsteen question wrong. And yes, Kirk was right - the rules changed every round. The last 4 rounds aren’t fun. What fan cares that they can’t “play along”? That’s the whole point of the niches - these are questions that only the hardcore fans of each niche knows.

I didn't think I would like the 1V1 format, but I have loved it. I like the personalized categories the most. Again, didn't think I would but i do. Either way, I always look forward to the Dozen.. Wish they would bring back Jenga too.

Just depends on what you are into, but on the Sublime side, for them being "Sublime" catagory questions they have been very very easy.

I was so happy to get the normal Simpson question right after pausing it to think, Idk how they retain so much information lol.

Brandon narrowing down it down to two players like that was crazy, tough break to pick the wrong one.
