Can we throw some kudos Phil’s way for his pure & beautiful soprano notes at the end. Brandi’s performance was magnificent enough already! His high notes were icing on the cake.

This is one of those songs those of us who were alive back in the 80's can start singing from memory when we first hear it being played. It also makes me cry. And DAMN, Brandi can sing the hell out of it!!!!

Everything she does is beautiful.

Fuck me! I discovered Brandi about 12 years ago. She is in a small club of entertainers that will be remembered long after they are gone.

Brandi is also SO great at doing covers! I absolutely love when she covers songs. Heck, her singing "Rocket Man" live is just so freakin' great! But yeah -- this is such a kickass song, and I adore Brandi's version of it. :)

I've loved her ever since I first heard "The Story" and I was Blown Away when she was touring with Heart and Elle King in 2019. Best concert I've Ever seen. I'm so glad that she's Finally being recognized for her Amazing talent. It's pretty awesome too, that Every cover song she performs, the Original artists are just in Awe of her talent and perspective on them. I love you Brandi!!!! ❤

I was always dumbfounded by this. She is so good live and just has an amazing and consistent talent.

Amazing performance. I'd expect no less from Brandi and the twins, especially Phil and his beautiful, angelic falsetto register. Just awesome. I can't wait until I can see BCB live again, and I'll cross my fingers this song is on the set list.

doing covers of tunes from the 60's thru the 80's is a real art form when done well.....kudos, Brandi and band

She's actually considered 'Americana', which is more like folk/ballad artist. She has Redefined the almost Endless music genres. I think that she should be in her Own class, called "The Brandi Effect'! I Love the band Heart, but I Must admit that I Was more excited to see Her perform in their tour. Both were Amazing though!

First found Brandi and the Twins in 2005. so 16 years of watching their musical journey evolve. Many concerts from small venue to stadiums. Every album, every song. Brandi...Phil and Tim...and the entire band....such beautiful music from and to the heart💛🙌....and yet, the most moving heart opening💓 parts of the performance are when all the good -taste- in -music- adoring audience sing along passionately with them. 😍 And this is one of the most pure joyful ways human beings unite in one place💫. And is now... the live in- person experience I miss the most the past 20 months.🙏

I think Phil has the amazing voice.

May have been one of her last performances so far, see that the pandemic was around of the corner.

You have to be a proper singer to cover this song. Brandi very much is. Great version.

J W. Listen to Don Henley speak and sing. His natural speaking voice is a deep tenor, but his high tenor harmonies are not falsetto. Now sometimes he does throw a little falsetto East Texas “screech” into the fade out of his songs. As far as “baldie #1” all I can say is some folks are just natural harmonizers.

I was a passionate member of the Madonna cult in the 90s. I see the same performances now and ask myself why.... you go blind kinda, in a cult. Not sayin' she ain't good, just sayin' we all wake up in 20 years....and no longer "see" why. Maybe because it was for lack of a better word, a "cult".

The sound quality was so bad that I found myself concentrating on the dumb and over rehearsed choreography. Just a boring effort of a classic song that seems so repetitive now in 2022.
