This woman has constantly put out music, prolifically written for other artists, produced for other artists, and won Grammys for years, and I feel like she’s still kinda flying under the radar. I’m so glad to see people finally taking note!

This was my wife's favorite song. Holds a special place in my heart.

The build on this song is phenomenal. & when her voice breaks at the start the last chorus, my brain frickin' explodes.

pretty much all her songs are the best. very underrated artist.

If it was wasn't for Greys Anatomy I wouldn't have ever heard of this artist. That would be a shame. Check out the Greys version as well. Sara Ramirez has an amazing intense voice. Glad you like this India 3:15 always gives me some major goosebumps!

I’m so glad she is getting more recognition now.

LOVE it when she rips into those power vocal pieces! That, and those breaks in her voice make this song SO impactful. I was in the car the first time I heard it, and I made a note of it, then went out and bought the album.

One of my very favorite songs. I am convinced that she wrote that from a tree swing in my brain. Just took a look around at my life and handed it back to me in 4ish minutes of poetry and music that makes it all make sense.

Birds of Chicago’s Superlover with the lyric, every mother far and wide prays let me die before my child. Just beautiful!

Brandi Carlile is amazing and even more live! You should react more of Brandi, for sure.

You need to check out more of this artist. This particular song made me fall in love with her, but her body of work is amazing! Check out “The Joke”. She sang it at an awards show a few months back and the world really found out what a powerhouse she is! I think you will love her!

I first heard The Story in an episode of Grey's Anatomy more than a decade ago. Loved the song so much I just had to track down the original singer and have been a Brandi Carlile fan ever since. This year, she finally won three Grammy awards in various categories for The Joke from the album By the way, I forgive you. Fully deserved and not a moment too soon IMO.

Played has the processional for my wife and I at our wedding. Celebrating our 10 year anniversary in May. She's the only one outside of God who knows how much of a mess I truly am, and she loves me anyway!
