Stephanie Hicks Homon I've thanked you in the past for posting your videos of Brandi for the rest of us to enjoy, but special thanks for capturing this one as I know she rarely performs it. No question her caralog is brilliant. However, That Year is one of a handful of poignant songs within that catalog (Shadow On The Wall, A Promise To Keep & Whatever You Do being others) that when you first hear them you're left speechless (& most likely with a tear running down your cheek) because the lyrics paired with her stunning vocal performance is so hauntlingly beautiful it pierces the soul & leaves its mark forever. If you haven't seen Brandi live, you must do it. It is a life changing experience! Not only is she an amazing musician and singer/songwriter, but a fantastic human being, and her stories at every show are so wonderful. I love the stories.
