If branded fusion was a tecchable card that you could put in every deck that would make sense but it restricts you into fusion before and after + making a board in branded takes your entire hand, it's not like a 1 card combo deck that allows for 4 HT to be stay in hand + the board. It is a deck made of pieces, you gotta combine different cards and one way or another you use all your resources to make your board with very little non engine slots and a lot of engine requirements in the deck

Making apollousa t1 in fire king is so risky when you don't have a card to protect it (imperm, crossout, ect...)

The Amblowhale pop the Branded in red with that order (first Albion, and then Mirrorjade). If the branded player would've activated Mirrorjade's effect first, the Amblowhale had nothing to pop, and then the player can use Albion's effect to ser Branded in red.

And of course the puppet is instawin basically, but i feel like in online games it doesn't need to be there, like you play to test how can your deck interact with the opponent, you don't get any of that by playing the puppet

@@maurizioamoruso142 this isn't correct. The opponent could side Bystials or Belle. It's better to test with Puppet online if you are taking it to a tournament. What should be different compared to IRL when you *use online only for your testing* is allowing the opponent some take backs so that you playtest against the worst possible situation instead of taking an easy win (unless you care that much about db score).

If Branded is actually serviceable this format then it might actually get some meaningful hits

@@brandogg974 I mean Branded has existed for 2 years with one meaningless card getting hit. If its actually a contender this format then its more likely to get hit than the brand new fire cards.

@@jzriw I don’t think branded will get hit when there is so many fire decks doing much better, anti meta decks like floo are also within that broad but nothing will happen to that either. Obviously much more important stuff to deal with than that.

Man that's the toxic yugioh mindset right there. "You know what deck needs to be gutted? An irrelevant one from 2 years ago". That said, sanctifire is a toxic card itself and should never have been printed

​@@CS0723Sanctifire is not inherently toxic, because like regained its effect fits with turning albaz into a disruption. The problem is that you have at least a handful of floodgates that you can summon off it that branded can easily get to.
