Good video! Couldn't Nike's vision though also be their mission? Kinda confused about those two (vision/mission). So for a solopreneur like me - I have a 'tag' line...in my youtube banner - nutrition you can live with. Only b/c it's short enough....but what I really do on my YT channel is provide unbiased relevant health and nutrition information so people can make an educated informed decision. But then for my nutrition coaching private practice I help women make peace with food. More broadly (and this is what I've always thought my 'mission' was) To help women build a healthy relationship with food, gain confidence, emotional health, and ultimately have more freedom and energy to enjoy life! So yes...understanding more the difference between them.

Thank you for your comment. Here is Nike’s mission statement - Our mission is what drives us to do everything possible to expand human potential. We do that by creating groundbreaking sport innovations, by making our products more sustainably, by building a creative and diverse global team and by making a positive impact in communities where we live and work. Vision is what you want to achieve - Mission is how you are going to get there so with your example (to help women build a healthy...) is phrased like a mission statement it’s how you are going to do something what is the ideal that this mission is heading towards? The other thing to think about vision is you need to be able to picture it so think about your version of the Oxfam example ‘a world without poverty’ what does the ultimate sum of your mission look like or where is it taking you?

@@ElementsBrandManagement Thanks for that! Okay good...so I was correct about what I thought was my mission stmt. Perhaps the ideal that my mission is heading towards is....'making peace with food.' Perhaps?

Please reply, what is the difference between a brand vision and a vision statement? The same question applies to Mission & Mission Statement?

They are the same thing - The statement is a way to formalise, clarify and record them so they can be used to communicate to you team
