Definitely man, it's very enjoyable to watch his videos he just has a different energy about it a lot of the other channels I feel like are too informal instead of remembering what RCS are about building something that's very cool and having fun with it not just the build

Hello from Murrieta California. Respect for the honesty about the videos. I would say it’s just entertaining watching you with your friends bashing rc’s. Excited about the savage XL.

Back in the mid 2000’s my brother and I got into nitro RC. He had the original savage and it was insane for the time. It handled runaways, temper tantrums from a teenager and just insane abuse. My only gripe was the engines were so finicky to tune. You just answered all our frustrations with the fuel tank. If only 13 year old me would have known. I have a classic T-Maxx from 1999 and it is hands down nothing like a savage. It’s smaller and fragile.

Staying up a little late tonight? Your the coolest dude I know, even though I haven’t been able to shake your hand. Not yet! I’m coming to the UK in the near future. I’m aiming for Famjam next year. 👍

It's easy to get stuck on a plan and then be a bit lost when it doesn't go right, I put stuff on hold because I wasn't sure if I'd have to move. Very hard to press on under those circumstances. I remember working at a few places that'd be perfect for you years ago out in the villages, converted barns and the like.

After being in this hobby for 35 years, I can say that when I see the new models released, as they describe them, I am imagining the necessary upgrades and fixes. Like we see clearly where they are weak or need upgrading. The suggestion of future need of aftermarket and replacement parts is so obvious. I guess to the newb its SO AWESOME! but to me the purchase would be doubled at least.

Mentioning the T-Maxx. I did a full Aluminum integy everything shelf queen build and ended up getting bored and doing a fair bit of bashing. Favorite Nitro I've had by far. I had several buggies and my friend had the savage. Opposite experience from what you said although mine was all aluminum and it would bend and I would just bend it back. Chassis had braces underneath and never once bent though. I would love to see you get one because you would love it.

New channel for racing only, I personally like watching those videos despite how boring you may think they are, gives a little unsure and fun into the ‘serious’ side of the hobby.

Hi Kevin love the videos! Maybe its been done already? but how come you haven’t put rear wheels steering on the xmaxx? Is that a challenge I don’t know. Be good to see maybe Traxxas will come out with an upgrade now they have made the arms wider. Anyway great work on all fronts 👍🏻

Land Rover Monster Mud Bog Truck...lol I have a 10 year old Losi XT that had the same a arm pin issue... I used Cen bolts to fix the problem back then..

The only thing I don't like about the Savage tank is how it flops about. With mine Ive put some stick on foam to absorb the bumping about and protects the tank from damage.

Great video Kev. I'd almost been used to daily videos, so you'd been spoiling us all. I was a little wary of this mention of 'grinding down the welds'. I'm not going to teach a grannie to suck eggs, but is this going to weaken the wheels for the jumps and hard landings? Al.

There's a mod you can do the savage tank to fix the tuning issue. If I remember right it was just adding a nipple on the inside of the lig with a piece of fuel tubing on it

My only and first Rc trick was that same trucks hpi savage 4.6 nitro. I worked on it more than I drove it. It did take way more abuse than my fiends t max trucks. After two years I sold it after not getting to crank anymore. Wanting to go xmaxx now just waiting to afford one.

I just ended up buying a older hpi savage my dad has a original 20 year old savage they are good trucks just need a bit of work

I converted my Savage Xl after 2 years to a Two Brother Chassis! At the time it was so Sick!

The 3.3 Tqi circa 2017 t-maxx was the most reliable nitro truck I ever owned. Not as fast as the Savage xl but twice as tough and didn't require tuning every tank of fuel. I hated my xl, lol but I did have one of the originals then moved into lipos with the OG Flux. Really makes you sad when regardless of what nuts you use, it just ripped the center sections outta rims.

You should consider moving to Johnson valley California lots of space out here in the high desert with dry lake beds, sand dunes and rocky mountains to play around, its where the famous king of the hammers takes place and you can do some rock crawling in your monster truck

Kev are you going to get the TRX4 k10 hiighlift or the Axial SCX6 Honcho crawler trail truck? I just got mine and they are awesome! The Trx4 K10 is an awesom trai and mud truck, The SCX6 Honcho is a beast! I like it better than the jeep look wiise.

I think I would drop in my LRP .32 has 4.34hp it's just waiting for the right ride to be transplanted into.
