Definitely let EC people know that homeschooling mom’s usually start planning the next school year earlier than public school teachers. 😂😂 Release earlier because everyone already has had their planner since February 😂😂 It is very cute! I love the undated aspect! It seems to have all the right pages without having all the stuff we don’t need. ❤👍🏻

I 100% agree about the ridiculously-late launch. This should have been announced 6 months ago. They just don’t seem to know their homeschool planner audience quite yet. I’m sure they will get there though!

The homeschool planner is very exciting, but why didn’t they at least say it was coming? This is so late to release a planner for any teacher…homeschool included. I’ve already got my planner for this year, and I switched from EC because I wanted to try to something more catered to homeschooling. I was tired of covering over and editing for the money I was spending. This looks great though! I hope they don’t assume it’s a miss if sales are low because they released it so late, and most people probably bought the teacher planner not knowing this was coming. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’d love to try it next year. Thanks for the video! I love these EC videos.

I'm also worried about the low sales I think most people already purchased their planner for next year. So I am crossing my fingers they keep it around, and then maybe next year they can release with the teacher planners...maybe! But, I do love it 😊 They did an amazing job with getting to the needs of the homeschool parent.

@@Townsendhouse1 I think they knew this which is why they decided to make it undated. I feel like it will stay around for a while. Maybe they held it for B2S because it would make the B2S launch more interesting.

​@@kelann89 I tend to start thinking ahead to the new homeschool year in March/April. We homeschool year-round, so we are typically done with our curriculum in March, and then I am looking ahead to the new year. But, I have friends who don't even start planning until July/August and start after Labor day 😊

I would have loved to have the homeschooling planner during all the years I homeschooled. Way back when, we had to create our own stuff. Glad this is an option now for the seasoned/new homeschooling families. It actually is pretty close to what I created for our family. Thanks for sharing this!

I love my planners! I am going to be using the homeschool planner this year to help me plan out our stuff better.

Omg! They truly knocked it out of the park for the homeschool planner! I already have my planner for this year, but I used an undated teacher planner last year, so that doesn’t phase me…. I don’t need it, but I may just have to pick one up so I can drool over it and be prepared for the next year! 😂🙈🙊

@@Townsendhouse1 for sure! I really love the thought and attention that went into it! I seriously may just have to cave in and get myself one just to have in advance. This past year I began looking ahead into this coming school years stuff around December/January. I began to write down the stuff I would need or was seriously considering using, but being able to utilize a separate planner for that particular school year would be such a great tool. I kept misplacing my notebooks and what that I would write stuff down in, because they were just plain old boring notebooks. My teacher planner though I always knew where it was. The only think I need to figure out for this year coming still is how I want to handle where to keep grades. I like the idea of it being right in my teacher planner, or a specific “grade book”, but I may just have to sit down on the computer and make my own set up where I can fill in what the specific assignment is, what the grade is, etc.

Thanks for sharing! I was so excited to see this Homeschool planner. It would have been perfect when both of my girls were still in school, but now it's just my youngest headed into her Junior year, so I don't think I'll be getting this one and instead the student planner. That said, I'm ecstatic that EC finally came out with a homeschool planner, wish they'd done this years ago.

Yes! It is amazing! Definitely too much for one student, and I think you made the right choice with the student planner for your daughter. That's so exciting that she is starting junior year! I'm interested to see what everyone thinks of the homeschool planner though 😊

I’m a little surprised that EC didn’t even hint about a homeschool planner during ECTP launch. I already have my new planner for the upcoming homeschool year, so maybe I’ll give it a go next year! I am very curious to see how you used to set up those trackers in your older ECTP checklists that you discussed at 36:10. I believe you keep all of your past planners - is it possible to have you do a YT short showing us what those looked like? I think I’m interested in doing that in the upcoming year!

I know! I do kind of wish they had at least hinted...but I do love my dated teacher planner and it is completely set up for the year. I do keep all of my old planners, however, the ones that I used to use the checklists in are packed away in bins (there are many bins 🤦🏼‍♀️) so I will have to dig for them. I was trying to go back through my old videos/blog posts to see if I could find some content for you that way, I know I have shared it before on my blog, and I started getting sucked down the rabbit hole of our early years homeschooling. But, i will definitely find something and share it soon!

I’m so glad you got this box! When I saw Jennifer from HappyPlacePlanning share this planner, I immediately thought of you. So when you started the video by saying you had no idea what was in the box, I was giddy knowing what was to come! Lol!

It is so pretty in person! And the different sections they included are amazing. I wish there was the option to add more of the tracker pages in the back, but overall, very pleased with what they came up with. They definitely understood the needs of the homeschooler which is awesome.

It's very nice. Wish I could...no planner for me this year. Still in survival mode, last year son got a feed tube and oldest was hit buy a car. We survived and now we are in survival of New baby with no funds. Life is never dull for my family..EC is very nice. I have HP from homeschool item back from 2021? I might try again to use, a little whiteout or sticker and a outdated planner is usable. 🤞my follow through improves.

You can definitely use some stickers or whiteout to redate your planner - that is a great idea on a way to use what you already have on hand. And honestly, sometimes a planner can be overwhelming, and if it is, I recommend just making a list each day in a notebook. You can either plan it ahead of time weekly like I do, or you can write down what you have done each day in a reverse record keeping strategy (or both if you want!). I really LOVE the looks of this, but why in the world did they release it so late? We typically begin our new school year in July. I'm running behind this year, and starting in August instead, but I bought my planner weeks ago. Grr. Not a problem at all! I think most people feel that way! I was grumpy with the teacher planner release in May - I need my planner early 🤪 we start on July 10th, so I totally understand the need for the planner earlier. Good luck as you prepare for your new year 😊

@@Townsendhouse1 Yes! This is my first year using EC's teacher planner. I was using Plum's homeschool one, and love that I can pick which month I want it to start with. But I love EC's colors, and covers, and the paper...and decided to give the teacher planner a try. I think I'll love it. I really do prefer dated, too!

I cannot find the planner on their website at all. Anyone know what its listed under?
