Henry, Thank you for a great tour of the railway station. I was surprised there was no snack bar or a newsstand at the station. (Or the like) You did get your exercise for the day. Glad you didn't get stuck in the elevator. 😅 I am watching the first season of Keeping Up Appearances right now. 😅

There's signs for a café on the platform but it's empty awaiting a tennant.

Thameslink should allow most of their trains to stop at the new Brent Cross West station including coming from Bedford, Brighton, Gatwick Airport and Orpington.

Would have been handy for visiting Moncado brewey next door to Yin Zip restaurant and supermarket but sadly the brewery has now closed.

@@fussyboy2000 I walked to the shopping centre to get a free Waitrose coffee. Not a recommended walk!

Brent Cross West does look like an airport terminal but it’s quite a nice station. Will you be doing East Linton in your spare time.

Perhaps the mezzanine level would connect to a multi storey carpark.

Horrible no ticket office and no staff about the way of the future looks like anyone can do what ever they like round there not the sort of place to be at night for a woman . The borough of Brent is a Khasi full of undesirables and a few overpriced yuppy flats is not going to change that .

Apparently there are plans for gateline staff to sell tickets including cash but not for an actual ticket office.
