*BRAND NEW* Arriva Midlands' Wright StreetDeck Electroliner, 8001 (BK73 ACX) - Service 48
Welcome aboard to the brand new Arriva Midlands WrightBus StreetDeck Electroliners and this is the first video on one
This is 8001 on the 48 to Leicester City Centre from South Wigston, this route along with the 47, 50 and 51 will be the routes they'll be allocated to, with six currently with the rest entering services at the end of the month
My first views on these they are really nice, comfy and my favourite part about them the interior, only downside is they are low height but overall I'm really impressed. 8001 is the very first one to enter out into service and I was lucky to get it as my first ever one, I've had 8002, 8003, 8004 and 8005 so far but have not been able to film them due to all being busy full of chatty people but hey ho that's what's to be expected on a electric
So far so good for these brand new Electroliners with Arriva Midlands, enjoy this first video on 8001.

I do like these better than the kites but i still have a part of me that don’t like these due to them replacing the DB250’s and Olympuses.

I know how you feel, I felt the same with the SN65/SK16 Streetdecks when they replaced the KP51 ALX400s

Aren't they just the saphire seats without saphire stitched or embroided into them If I remember right. When leicester had the saphire branded geminis

@@AaronCable-tf9tt Yeah same Sapphire spec seats and we certainly did, we had some B7TLs and B9TL Geminis all in the old Sapphire livery branded back in the day.

@Nallaperumakumara225 technically not a sapphire interior due to the handrails being more beige than the usual sapphire handrails (like standard arriva spec) and the front of the bus being a standard arriva blue unlike the darker blue you get in sapphires
