BRAND BOLLYWOOD...downunder. In theatres this Australian spring.
Directed and written by Anupam Sharma (The Run, UnINDIAN) and co-written and edited by ASE Karin Steininger (Anne Frank Remembered), the feature documentary is an entertaining and informative Australian love letter to Hindi Popular Cinema.
Featuring some of the leading cast who generously gave up their time and clips of their films to support this Australian celebration of Popular Hindi Cinema on a global stage.
These include Anupam Kher, A.K. What an Interesting trailer! Never knew Bollywood was so deeply widespread in Australia too. Would definitely want to watch more to know the impact of Bollywood on Australia... Anupam Kher's quote in the end - we celebrate life... bang on!
