Branch is the reason why I continued to watch the trilogy. He is such a funny, kinda dorky character but also smart and rational, which is a great balance in his relationship with Poppy. Those moments with her were perfect! Branch is also so well-developed and is IMO the best part of these films. One of my favorite dreamworks characters. Plus, who can deny Justin Timberlakes beautiful singing voice😍.

@sharpwater4804 If the target audience wasn't kids, we'd probably see him developing some serious mental health issues. Him depressed and isolated in the bunker that he built for his brothers that walked out on him, still mourning the loss of his grandmother. Over 20 years of no singing or close companionship to lift his spirits. Dang, this dude has been through a lot!

Branch is ironically an amazing character… even before he got his colors back, he still kept Poppy’s invites, showing he admired how she still invited him despite his stubbornness. I love how he doesn’t immediately have the same personality as the other trolls. I know there were many theories that he’s not a pop troll, but I think that defeats the purpose. Many people can be of the same color but live through different experiences. That’s why Branch is so different, he’s lived a different life than the other trolls, constantly being separated from his family. He’s sassy, sarcastic, realistic, a bit pessimistic, but he’s also passionate and he cares. It’s refreshing to have a character with a good heart that isn’t always overly happy.

you Hit the nail on the head mate and it is really sad just how different his life experiences were to most other Pop Trolls dude legit went through abandonment and tragedy and extreme Grief and PTSD for years all by himself since he was a little kid. all the while everyone else in pop Village just seemed to instantly forget about the Bergens and move on with their lives straight away so Branch had no one to relate to when he was a kid which is Heart-breaking as Hell tbh.

In the first movie, Branch was my one and only favorite character In the second, he was still my favorite but I had a second favorite(Queen Barb) In the third Branch is STILL my favorite but is tied with Veneer in 1st place with Floyd very close to the top at 2nd place My point is, Branch has always been freaking awesome
