I relate to Jessica on this one. I've been completely enamoured with this movie since I saw it back in 1992. I fell in love with Gary Oldman as Dracula and admired his undying love for Elisabeta/Mina. How amazing it must be to see these iconic costumes in person! Much love to you both and your channel!

I feel so much better knowing I’m not alone with my obsession of the movie, especially the music thats playing wen Vlad sees Mina in person for the 1st time “See me See me Now” and she looks up and damn! He looks soo good, the suit, his hair, just mmmm I’m sure I’ve seen this movie at least 40 times and never ever grow tired or bored. But sadly no one in my circle shares my feelings about this beautiful movie ❤❤❤ There are a couple of scenes that blew me away..The moment Mina says, I know you.. Vlad n Mina dancing by candlelight ❤

Got to say this is probably and will always be my favorite Dracula film.

Lucy's wedding dress!! Oh how incredible. The artistry that went into not just Lucy's costumes but all the costumes in that movie. I adore Bram Stoker's Dracula

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is an iconic movie. I still love watching it to this day.

I remember waiting outside theatre for my showing because it would sell out fast. I was a big Gary Oldman fan but after this movie I was in pure heaven🦇🖤I have watched this movie so many times. Jessica u hv good taste👍

I know exactly where Jessica is coming from. Bram Stoker's Dracula is my favorite Coppola film; it's one of the most gorgeously looking film ever with an incredible score by Wojciech Kilar. Kilar also did the score for Polanski's The Ninth Gate, which I also love.

According to Gary Oldman, the most difficult costume to wear & perform in was the Bat creature that turned into a bunch of rats - "look what your God has done to me" - after the hunters walk in on him and Mina drinking his blood. They also had trouble acting properly scared when they first see him, so Gary decided to whisper something in their ears, which legitimately terrified them lol. For me the scariest was the Werewolf in the beginning.

The Francis Ford Coppola Dracula movie was spectacular. It is one of the very few movies I got on DVD after seeing it in the theater. You guys did a nice job of showing some of the movie's artifacts as well.

Oh what I wouldn't give to watch Bram Stoker's Dracula for the first time all over again. It was such a beautiful movie. Gary Oldman was amazing in it.

Seeing the screen used costumes from Bram Stoker's Dracula must have been life changing. The sheer enchantment on Jessica's face says it all. It's one of my all time favorite movies as well and I would have been geeking out even harder. Dracula's battle armor in the movie is really amazing looking but behind the scenes it was falling apart during most takes. All the costumes in the movie were designed by a Japanese woman and the robe that Dracula wears in his castle specifically emulates geisha style wardrobe.

I am GEEKING OUT!!! My favorite movie with my favorite actor by my favorite director! A masterpiece. Gary Oldman is still the hottest vampire I’ve ever seen. Hubba hubba! 😍❤️‍🔥 Thanks for sharing, Grimms! 🦇

That movie was so damn good. Epic, tragic, horror, tad bit of action topped off with the perfect song at the credits. It’s almost like the song gives you the feels of Dracula’s loneliness

Apparently the child actor was absolutely petrified of Sadie Frost (Lucy) in that dress, and they went out of their way to goof around with her between takes while Sadie was still in full vampire/undead costume, so she wouldn't be traumatized lol.

I enjoyed that. I have new respect for the designers behind his vision of Dracula. The Art Nouveau embroidery on the dress is so good and totally unnecessary but are just a beautiful detail.

Speaking of pictures you can take and put in your house if you like memorabilia collecting animation cells is one of my hobbies, THAT armor is iconic probably one of the most recognizable items of the era.

@@costealucia5357 I don’t think Bela Lugosi was trying to portray the actual Voivode of Wallachia, Vlad lll. The character was loosely inspired by what Bram Stoker researched.

Oh I love Dracula. The costumes, the way the story was taken, the actors, the effects, the soundtrack. Seriously it has age so well. As so loved that they had the boat from Marie Antoinette movie. I loved it, I think they should have included the costumes of the 3 vampire brides which are also really cool and the 3 most beautiful in my opinion, even knowing the work that went into making this armor, Lucy's costume, in addition to Mina's

Thanks for sharing. Dracula is probably my favourite Coppola film. It does have problems (I don't care for the love story to be honest), but the mood & atmosphere really captures the creepy atmosphere in the book. Coppola's decision to use in camera optical effects (like multiple exposures), is something I love doing in my still photography, so its something I can relate to on a creative level. I am a huge fan of the book (which is why I'm not a fan of the love story), & I tracked down some London locations mentioned in the book on my recent trip (with the help of an annotated copy). I also went to Hampstead, which is where Van Helsing & Dr. Seward go to investigate the child attacks which turns out to have been done by Lucy (I went mainly to see Jack Straws Castle & The Spaniards Inn). Walking there, I could easily picture Lucy roaming around the area looking for a victim, & I was a bit creeped out just thinking about it. Like I've said, while I do have some problems with Coppola's movie, I didn't really realise it is closer to the book than most Dracula adaptations until I saw James Rolfe's video comparing them. If I recall correctly, I think Coppola's version was the only film adaptation (or one of the only few), to include Quincey Morris as a character, who is one of my favourites in the book.

The costume designs was a BIG PLUS to the movie.

This Dracula movie had such a psychedelic, nothing-is-real feel to it. Fascinating production design and costumes, and of course, Gary Oldman's masterful performance. We won't mention Keanu Reeves miscasting as Harker. Whoops, just did!

Coppola's Dracula was the embodiment of Gothic Cinema. It had the most original costumes and set design in film history. It's cool you got to see them in person.

I was in an adapted production of Dracula. I was one of the Brides (Vixens in the play). It’s still one of my most favorite plays I’ve been in. So seeing the costumes when I visited the winery was special for me too!

So many amazing actors in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Now legends. Gary Oldmans 15th film now over a 100. Tom Waits was an excellent casting choice. Heath Ledger was a big fan and influenced his joker performance

I know people who have been to that winery. They said the wine and food was delicious. They loved seeing that car the most!

Incredible model ships I’d love to have my collection/ kudos to the Hollywood model makers / just as epic as the creature creators! Awesome!

I recently was at the Forks cultural site in Winnipeg and was in the antique shop and found a four issue adaptation of Bran Stokers Coppola Dracula movie inked by Mike Mignola of Hellboy fame Pretty cool!

Bram Stokers was my first Wife's favorite movie befor she passed.. She painted her bedroom in Ox blood, hung candles and movie posters when we were in H school.❤❤

Back in March of 1990 when I was 12 years old, I was an extra in The Godfather 3. It was so awesome being on the set (it was the San Janero Festival where Andy Garcia shot Joe MOntegna's character). I recall Francis tell me to stand on one mark and move from there to another mark on the other side. and it was the scene with the footshot of the horse andy is on moving from right to left. I move from left to right..I even miss step and that remains on film! Anyhoo, it was so awesome getting to Meet Francis. I told him I loved Apocalypse now and he said '.,...you're too young to know that film!!!!!' lmao! After GF3, he went on to direct Dracula!

Now I will have to watch Bram Stoker's "Dracula" since the two of you are very passionate about the movie. 😊
