With Kevin being a Case mechanic in his past it's like an abusive relationship of him sticking with his Case machines because he knows how to fix them despite them braking down. It's however some of the best videos, because Kevin has such a can do and positive personality, which one must have to be able to be a farmer!

Talking about pinching o-rings, I was working a big job with big weird hard to source o-rings and some how we got one that had a spot that was smaller in diameter than the rest. So the system leaked and we had to really scramble to find a replacement for the replacement.

Glad you mentioned the reservoir above the brake master cylinders on these! We have an older International 885XL which uses the same system (tap from the oil cooler line fills the reservoir with the drain via a standpipe) and had that problem occur a few times. The quick fix is to pull the drain line, slide the steel pipe back up in to the reservoir and then refit. A more permanent fix is to either glue or pin the steel pipe in to place

These tractors had such decent potential and such poor execution. The pto is a pain, brake masters had 10 updates, the piston seals on the brakes, trans faults without any indication as to why. If you know how to fix them they are ok but they will put you in the poor house fast if you are paying to keep them going.
