After five years and numerous singles and tours, London's The Clientele finally release their first full-length album of all new material. For these recordings, they have made a conscious effort to try and put the rain behind them.

You don't notice it immediately, because they're so subtle, but the Clientele have a great rhythm section, perfectly supporting the songs.
First time ive heard an englishman use the word outwith! That man has some scots heritage somewhere

Born in Aberdeen. His name is Scottish. I wasn't familiar with that word, though. Thanks for catching that. Very interesting.

It's The Violet Hour, their first "real" album (Sububan Light is a compilation).
