to be fair, I'm pretty sure it isn't hard to make a command block that sets all players to adventure mode when they get into the map. This map just lacks the quality code work to make it happen.

That's why it's pound shop Diversity. Diversity 3 sets your game mode whenever you tp and will occasionally punish you for entering creative. This map just, doesn't have those command blocks in place. It's still better than the maps that were made entirely in survival they used to play.

@@MindMessed The Professor Grizwald adventure maps are magical. Some of the best adventure maps and those were made in survival because gamemodes didn't even exist yet.

It is beautiful, the lack of adventure mode and the attempts to seemingly break every puzzle make this video an absolute delicious ragebait, I always love the Yogscast Guarantee

It's an old school thing, Adventure mode used to not have that stuff, It was used back then to make it so that you couldn't break anything on maps without the relevant tool and that was it. Doesn't remove their inability to read but it's the reason they think that.

Gotta say. I'm actually disappointed they didn't *try* on the puzzles. I can get them cheesing the parkour, esp after *trying* it , but they didn't even put in effort here, despite Simon(and to a lesser degree Lewis)'s interest. It felt like they might as well have just cut the entire section of the video for all the entertainment it contributed, like Half the group didn't even want to be playing this.(Tom defaulting to *immediately* cheating, before they even had the chance not to, Gee being a non-entity, Lewis's halfhearted objections). The most frustrating part is that I actually really like their individual content, and generally like having them on the main channel, but this is one of the few times I think it would've been best if, ironically, it'd just been "Yogscast Lewis and Simon".

The little credits montage at the end was clever. Very premium.

If Harry was here, it'd definitely be "Brain Bursting Buzzles and Bone Breaking Bombat"

This has been the most Yogscast Yogscast series for a while, and I love every second

Minecraft needs to add the Captain Kirk move of "clasp my hands together and then unconvincingly hit the Gorn in the back very slowly". To match the battle music, you know.

for the record, the pve was probably some of the best part of the map, as long as one plays in adventure mode, watching you lot play them is always a good time, but if you do want to experience it, that is the way to go

"I think we've got some healing ability that is working very well" That healing ability is called having full hunger + saturation. Because minecraft decided that having full hunger should make you near immortal for some reason.

well because in combat your hunger should fall as you perform actions but it's not for them

I think the map had them at perma max saturation. In normal mc you wouldn't be able to heal that much without eating.

@@notaproblemmm The speed, yes you can, but the total amount, no, which is why you're most likely correct about the saturation. I assumed as much given that they never have to eat food. Which is why i pointed out that this was the healing ability.
