So beautiful to listen to - and watch. Loved watching the conductor. And a great recording too as it was very clear - could hear every note. Bravo! And thanks.
Thank you for a marvelous concert, which I enjoyed first thing this morning over a hot cup of coffee. I’m forever grateful for the joy you bring to my life, especially during the darkest moments of the pandemic.

Attended this performance. Alice Sara Ott performed just before this incredible Symphony. What an evening.

Very nice rendition of Brahms symphony 4. \¥/
It is the same Reythemic style of the great sergui clibidache !
Sehr schade. - Susan Ville

You didn't like it maybe because the conductor is a woman !

Rushing? Sounds like it’s given a lot of space to me, compared to faster (equally valid and interesting) interpretations. Plenty of emotion and drama, light and shade in the playing, so maybe closing your eyes and hearing the end result might lead to more enjoyment for you. Unless the only valid end result is the recording you’re most used to (meaning everything else is ‘wrong’).

@@andrewtaylor5695 yea .. right !
Passive, boring and nondescript. An absolutely generic performance.
