Im detecting an extremely low fight IQ. Its ok. Sean is getting destroyed. Dricus isnt an Izzy who is waiting for a counter punch and is going to walk backwards the entire fight. This is a BAD matchup for sean...hes getting slept. Goodnight, sleep tight.

@@jackpace6845 I don’t get how people are so confident a guy that slows down in every single fight who has one notable win over an over the hill Whitaker is going to beat someone that doesn’t slow down, constantly pressures his opponents, has good ground defense, has a chin and is a killer. I usually don’t come back to comment when I’m right, but I’ll be back for this one lol don’t delete your comment now. And I’m not talking Izzy, Sean puts pressure on pressure fighters as well and ends up walking them down. The ddp hype ends next weekend. He will literally have nothing for Sean besides MAYBE a sloppy takedown at the beginning of the fight, other than that. He will gas, he will try to get the fight down with more sloppy takedown attempts, and Sean will smell blood. 3rd round tko. It will look like the magomedov fight

Because Dricus has shown he still has power even when he slows down and this can hold Stricklin off as well as how he tends to offensively blitz in when opponents try to pressure him which keeps Strickland from walking him down the same way Strickland walked down Adesanya at least early on. Dricus even if he momentarily backs up he comes blitzing in as soon as sees opening to counter. Strickland doesnt tend to counter punch on the back foot so DDp is free to blitz in a not have to worry about being countered so much plus if that doesn't work Dricus has the counter double leg if Strickland is still walking him down and if he gets a counter takedown on Strickland while Strickland is still throwing, Strickland will get taken down as Dricus has size and strength on him. DDP has more ways to win even though his footwork kinda sucks he makes up for it in power and athleticism. He could still lose and very much still could get caught and dropped by Strickland in an exchange but he just he has more ways to win than Strickland and more ways to nullify Strickland's game.@@danbaker7640

Yeah, I don't see him surviving such an onslaught. Granted, DDP's boxing is kinda sloppy, especially in the later rounds, but he never stops and he's just stronger.

Both have short, thick necks. That's why it went to a decision. Anyone else, fighting either of them, would have wobbled badly.

@@Criticas2Calcetas He didn't fight that fight like he was washed. He just met a brick wall on that night. Importantly... look at the damage Dricus does to his opponents. He could have lost that fight, Tavares was going quite well, but he's taking tonnes of damage, he's got not being allowed to have any equilibrium, and Dricus's messy style is just hard to counter. I stand by my comment. Most other fighters would have been wobbled by either of them with hits both were dishing out. You fresh from Lord Strickland's latest load of bullshit dumped out? How's this for an idea? Sean might win, but it still doesn't make Tavares already washed in that fight.

bro what? do you really believe that sean will make him have to reach out with his punches? sean will keep coming at dricus and he will throw short hooks until one of them drops sean, he is not a versatile fighter and his style will not work against dricus

I think izzy destroys du plessis easily, because du plessis rushes in like Brunson does, but I think du plessis knocks sean strickland out cold

Nah the way Sean parries shots and turns from pressure I don’t know how dricus will get off the way he does with a lot of people. Sean’s striking is very tricky.
